    Is Capitalism in crisis? Is Capitalism really in continual crisis? Are we really in 'late' Capitalism? With such a bleak view of the Modern I can see why someone would run towards desperate alternatives such as Socialism. Just because you have a hypothesis and can argue that hypothesis quite convincingly that doesn't mean that your hypothesis is valid or more valid than other opinions. I found this lecture full of foreboding - not helped by the lighting at the lectern - I wonder if that was on purpose.
