So agree, sadly one of the reasons why the critics didn’t take him seriously very unfair but I really think his great looks sadly had everything to do with it. He is incredibly talented but I think critics weren’t used to see a male singer that beautiful. There are many male singers who sure are either pretty boys or sexy but not that beautiful like Enrique Iglesias. Jon’s level of good looking is only seen in male movie stars. The only guy who compares to him looks wise is Brad Pitt, I love the music of Bon Jovi and he had one f the most special singing voices but I think really his good looks outshined his great talent as a musician. He was too beautiful for his own good no male singer has ever been that good looking. His good looks are almost unreal
