Mumbo Jumbo actually _wanted_ to use Lodestones as decorative blocks on reveal. This Iron change makes his dream possible, as Iron and Stone are both easily farmable.
I like the pale garden spreading after the mansion was already built. I mean, that's actually how is was added to the game, so it sounds like an appealing narrative?
TNT dupers are intended. They removed them from the game at one point, but readded them in 1.14. I think until they make a more viable and less cheat-y source of renewable sand and/or red sand, TNT dupers will remain in the game.
Yeah, until we have movable tile entities and farmable sand, it’s probably not getting removed. But once you can move dispensers full of auto-farmed tnt, there won’t be a reason to keep it in 😅
I don't think they should have sand farms. I think they should change the recipe for TNT and use clay instead. I'm sure they only used sand originally because of how rare clay was, but real life dynamite is made with clay, and so should TNT in the game. That way they don't need to add any new mechanics. Having the recipe be slightly truer to life would be a very justifiable way to fix it.
No one will change the TNT recipe, that's for sure. Besides, sand is useful for other stuff as well, not just TNT. Also, clay is not farmable without TNT duping :P (and even with TNT duping, it's very slow).
@dakotaraptorr Clay can be made with mud and dripstone but how do you break it? Also, it is very slow and dripstone isn't moveable so you can't use it to make TNT flying machines.
@andreimiga8101 Why would you need TNT duping to farm clay? It is farmable, and if you change the recipe of TNT to sand, then you can autocraft TNT and keep farming clay. The only thing you need to get rid of duping for farms (not for flying automining contraptions) is to change the recipe for TNT. I would make it clay balls, too, instead of clay blocks so that you make that intermediate step useful.
I really hope they add more control over particles if they continue adding more environmental / decorative ones... Maybe split them into two groups, decorative and informative? Particles like taming failure/success, villager moods, and love mode hearts are *useful*, while things like cherry and spore blossom particles only tell you that there are cherry leaves / a spore blossom above (and block breaking particles only tell you the same thing the block textures do as they break). I do like the environmental ones! but sometimes my pc Does Not 😂
I think the piglin farm nerf was inevitable. It was always a bug, and it is the only mob in the game that would have worked like that. I get why people would be upset about it, but sometimes these farm-breaking changes need to be made for the future of the game.
Would the bug fix at 19:07 let us drop mobs from a height that would kill creepers and skeletons while leaving zombies at half a heart? My quick testing says no but maybe with very specific heights it could be possible? Also mob spawning is entirely broken in this snapshot. Animals can spawn during chunk generation, but aside from that no passive or hostile (or presumably other) mobs can spawn.
For XP I just made an infested allay farm next to my villager trader because usually I'd get a bunch of gear and books from there and then go to a guardian farm or something, but now I can just have a very small xp farm right where I need it I'm counting the days until they'll nerf that Ain't no way they'll keep that in the game
I’m fine with the zombie pigman change, but I hope they add some other form of infinitely automatic XP into the game. Fast mining-based farms can shred a maxed netherite pickaxe in ~7 minutes! Having a repair mechanism is extremely important Perhaps they could make some way to automatically turn sculk into XP without the player? I know withers and reloading the End still work, but it’s not nearly flexible enough for things like ice farms that can only be built in specific locations.
I've taken a break from Minecraft for a while, for only a month or two. I come back and it no longer looks like the same game, these updates are getting crazy😃

Is anyone else having issue with breaking shulker boxes in this snapshot? Whenever I break a shulker box with items in it, it drops all the items like I broke a chest.
I would totally play a "successor" game. Have you tried *Vintage Story* though? It is all that Minecraft is not in survival. It still lacks automation, but it's definitely on the radar. It's on 1.20 now... and IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine if they put a special feature on the cold temperature pig that’s wooly and make it able to be sheared and drop wool then the search for the pig will be so much more important.
It’s unfortunate that Mojang has been breaking so many farms lately. I still have yet to update my survival server from 1.20 because we love our gold and raid farms.
I don't think they should. It's just going to create lag from the constant random block updates. Having the particles create new blocks would also be quite limiting for builders, since you would have to protect the ground from being filled or stop using leaves as decoration. The forest ground would also be completely covered with leaves after like 10 minutes, which would just look bad imo.
Cooking leaf blocks to get leaves is a really weird choice. If they could add in either a sawmil counterpart to the stonecutter, or just add wood cutting recipes to it, then using that would make far more sense.
the devs are ruining movement. two huge movement changes in a row that are both terrible for the parkour and movement community. first they remove sprint sneaking then they remove 45 strafes, this game is so odd
Are you excited for new automatic farms?

How is Stone easily farmable? There's basically no way to farm it without using glitches such as TNT duping.

I don't think woodland mansions in pale gardens make much sense. The illagers are afraid of the creaking, so why would they build their mansion there?
Maybe it spread or some lore reason
Cuz Pale Garden is a Sub Biome of dark oak, Cuz of that Mansion spawns got redused, Cuz of how the Game only would spawn them in the main biome
I like the pale garden spreading after the mansion was already built. I mean, that's actually how is was added to the game, so it sounds like an appealing narrative?
@@xDeivit136 The pale garden is the illagers' failed experiment, it didn't exist when they settled down

yknow Vindicators wielding axes could be a neat lore thing for defense against creakings or somethin

So redstone eye trackers etc. are now possible with named creakings but for resin farms, we want night and new ones to spawn?
