Well post scriptum is just harder for people to get into than HLL, HLL has that red orchestras 2 vibe that you can just jump in and have fun guns and blazing while in PS you might spend 2 hours in game and only got into a 10 mins gunfight while the rest of the time you are doing nothing.

Oh for real? Hahaha no one wants to join a almost empty game, I don't even bother if there's less than 60 players. If I'm going to play a full scale war game I want to actually shoot at someone, not walk around for 15mins only to die to some sniper hiding in a bush.

Medic is only helpful healthwise if people are "downed" right next to him, else they´ll just give up and respawn. At least the Corpsmen Medic gets 4 Smokes, so he can block enemy vision. Thing that people don't know: the closer you are to the Medic + SL, the lower the suppression you receive from the enemy (shots/mgs) gets. It also gets partially lowered the closer you are to the rest of your squad and then, to a small degree, the closer you are to other teammembers. (Saw it the other day in the HLL discord)
No way, really? Holy shit I have 440 hours on HLL and I didn't know that. It would also explain why I think I've suppressed the enemy with fire, only to be accurately dispatched with a single shot from the guy I was shooting at.
I like that HLL doesn't have tickets. I love Squad and HLL, and both games do a brilliant job at 'feeling' like the period of war they represent. HLL feels more hectic, large-scale, brutal warfare. Squad feels more like Skirmishes, longer range, more precise.
You forgot the most frustrating part of the UI, the Deploy button! Because the map is designed to moved by holding the left mouse button, if you move your mouse even slightly when you press deploy, it wont register. So you think you've deploying in, wait for the timer only to find that apparently you didn't hit deploy! So you have to wait again. What would be really helpful is if when you hit deploy it goes from red to green, you know, a little easier to notice that you're deploying in. Instead they have the Deploy button slowly fade in and out. Very helpful...
Leading up to the console release im going to be watching Band of Brothers. Couple hours before the game launches, I'm going to watch Saving Private Ryan. Extremely excited.

Never in a million years did I expect Hell Let Loose to come out on top over Post Scriptum. HLL is the roughest gem there is rn, but a gem none the less. I still don’t consider it good enough to for me to enjoy, but here’s hoping it only gets better.

It would be cool if hell let loose did some potential alternate history DLC like if operation sea lion did happen how would that battle play out or operation unthinkable did happen fighting in the battle ruins of Berlin ,Warsaw and leading up to Moscow.
Once you've played the game for a bit, the UI recognition isn't a problem, but there are still other problems. But I will say it's a great game that had an even better active dev team that actively tries to fix problems, I mean there was once a time we had to run from spawn, it sucked
There is a ticket system in this game. It's called Man Power and you can mine for it in Man Power nodes. Thus, making it pretty much endless unless the timer says no. However, if you push the enemy back so far, they lost their Manpower nodes, they will lose enough tickets to lose as they die. There's also Fuel nodes deciding if you can spawn tanks, Ammo node giving you the option of artillery support. But all these are not really explained to you right away. You have to explore the game options and shit. It's very fucked up.
It doesn't change anything really. It's not like you gonna loose because of the lack of manpower. Second with all nodes giving you +30 of any resource it's near i possible to drain everything.
I honestly wouldn't recommend it, I don't get what my friends see in it over things like Squad (and they're fuckin Arma players, don't know why they like this pseudo-arcade shooter so much). Not even close, Red orchestra 2/Rising Storm/Rising Storm 2 shit all over HLL when it comes to gameplay, enjoyment factor, and intensity, not to mention teamwork.

Apples and Oranges.. Its great, been very well developed and constantly updated and patched for over 18 months

they just re-did most the sounds.. its all in the update plan, they already patching it only went out of early access 2 weeks ago.
