Of all people of African descents abroad, I admired Jamaicans a lot cause they still still feel proud of their originality of Africa and they don’t feel ashamed from being descendants of Africa, R.I.p Bob Marley, there won’t be any other artist and activist like you.

Once Bob started singing he would get into his own world, not caring about what anyone else would say about his performance. Greatness!

@@keithwatson1384 The breadbasket scenario was extended into the Mugabe era until the wheels came off in earnest in 2000 after the violent, chaotic land distribution exercise. Those 4500 White farmers used to feed Zim& the rest of Africa.Any sensible leader would never temper around with the backbone of the economy !.Yes there was need 4 land redistribution but it had to be lawful, carefully managed¬ violent, chaotic&thuggish as we witnessed in 2000 which went on to condemn the ZIM economy to the financial abyss.

Bob Marley was truly an adamant pillar, he always went ahead and everywhere expressing his revolutionary ideas with no hair on his tongue. Of course it was strange his disappearance quickly at only 36 years. No one ever believed in his natural death. He bothered many. Unfortunately the rebels always die with one way or another .... But ideas continue to develop always ... Great Bob Marley, rest in peace.

Every man gotta right to decide his own destiny
And in this judgment there is no partiality
So arm in arms, with arms
    We'll fight this little struggle
    'Cause that's the only way
We can overcome our little trouble
    Brother you're right, you're right,
    You're right, you're right, you're so right
We gon' fight (We gon' fight)
We'll have to fight (We gon' fight)
We gonna fight (We gon' fight)
    Fight for our rights!
    Natty dread it in-a (Zimbabwe)
    Set it up in (Zimbabwe)
Mash it up-a in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
    Africans a-liberate (Zimbabwe)
    No more internal power struggle
We come together to overcome the little trouble
Soon we'll find out who is the real revolutionary
'Cause I don't want my people to be contrary
And brother you're right, you're right,
    You're right, you're right, you're so right
We'll have to fight (We gon' fight)
We gonna fight (We gon' fight)
We'll have to fight (We gon' fight)
    Fighting for our rights
    Mash it up in-a (Zimbabwe)
    Natty trash it in-a (Zimbabwe)
    Africans a-liberate Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
    I'n'I a-liberate Zimbabwe
    Brother you're right, you're right,
    You're right, you're right, you're so right
We gon' fight (We gon' fight)
We'll have to fight (We gon' fight)
We gonna fight (We gon' fight)
    Fighting for our rights
To divide and rule could only tear us apart
In everyman chest, there beats a heart
So soon we'll find out who is the real revolutionary
And I don't want my people to be tricked by mercenaries
    Brother you're right, you're right,
    You're right, you're right, you're so right
We'll have to fight (We gon' fight)
We gonna fight (We gon' fight)
We'll have to fight (We gon' fight)
    Fighting for our rights
Natty trash it in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
Mash it up in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
Set it up in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
    Africans a-liberate Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
    Africans a-liberate Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
Natty dub it in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
Set it up in-a Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
    Africans a-liberate Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
Every man got a right to decide his own destiny

However the late King of Reggae :Robert Nesta Marley must be turning in his grave with anger with what has happened in ZIM .Zim has been condemned to the abyss by the evil, corrupt ,murderous Zanuiods who are evil&corrupt to the bonemarrow. They succeeded in running ZIM into the ground.Bob braved the tense political climate to come down to ZIM to stage a concert on the eve of Zim Uhuru (April 17th 1980).He footed the bill himself &staged the concert free of charge. He went on to donate a brand new PA System to the Govt. What he prophesied in that song :Zimbabwe has now come to pass. Now we really know the true Revolutionaries!!!!.RIP Robert Nesta Marley:King of Reggae.(February 1945-11 May 1981).

yes and their economy is doing great because of it!
I assume your talking about the whites that have settled in Zimbabwe, I guess millions of blacks settling in Europe is fine, but a few whites in Africa is wrong? I guess thats how the world works, racism only works one way!
But Zimbabwe got rid of their 'colonisers' in 1980, so why have they gone from the bread basket of Africa to one of the poorest nations on Earth? The colonisers havent been there since 1980 so I wonder when Africa will have to admit to their own mistakes and stop using colonisation as an excuse for their failures, how long can you blame colonisation for?

Bob Marley is still contemporary. Zimbabwe sounds like a Kirundi word which literary means I will be for you. Zimbabwe is a country in Southern Africa.
