I picked pile #1 & that is so wild (especially because I watched this after the fact). I came into work today and out of nowhere my supervisor started talking to me about how I am a great worker and she doesn't want me to leave necessarily, but she feels I am not reaching my potential and she was encouraging me to consider my next career steps. She offered to give me a day off to shadow any other department in the facility to see if it's something I'd want to do and to also introduce me basically to them. I picked pile #1 & that is so wild (especially because I watched this after the fact). I came into work today and out of nowhere my supervisor started talking to me about how I am a great worker and she doesn't want me to leave necessarily, but she feels I am not reaching my potential and she was encouraging me to consider my next career steps. She offered to give me a day off to shadow any other department in the facility to see if it's something I'd want to do and to also introduce me basically to them. I have been struggling financially, as many people are nowadays, and even at risk of being homeless in April when my lease is up. So this is a great opportunity for me to improve my situation, potentially make more, and be able to afford a place to rent, etc. but I have no idea what department to choose or which direction I even want my career path to go. I should also note that I am quite comfortable in my position as far as being good at it, and I love my coworkers, so it is a bit scary to think of leaving that behind.
