This was great! Can you do one with a song that I think that would work for Supercorp? It’s called How I Want Ya by Hudson Thames and with Hailee Steinfeld! It’s an old song but I think it would work for some or most of the scenes when Lena is looking Kara/Supergirl up and down and vice versa! I have the song on my playlist! Lol
As a guy, I can safely tell you I don't think it's cool at all to treat a woman as a toy; that's not how you treat the ladies in your life at all! In short, think of them as your coworkers, nothing less, more, or else really. Different ventures? Sure, but colleagues in short for the summary of how to see them. This isn't feminism, but is propriety.
As a woman myself, I am very glad you think so. The song I chose for this edit is meant to be empowering, as it is about not obeying a man and being his doll but being independent and powerful. “Could wake up, and make up, and play dumb Pretending that I need a boy Who's gonna treat me like a toy (...) But I don't wanna be the puppet that you're playing on a string This queen don't need a king Oh, I don't know what you've been told But this girl right here's gonna rule the world Yeah, that's where I'm gonna be because I wanna be No, I don't wanna sit still, look pretty” These are just a part of the lyrics taken from the beginning of the song. I hope I have you an insight on my song choice.
@@OpenHoax I disagree about things like a wife not necessarily obeying; but I do agree about her being treated right. Oh, and the line "this queen don't need a king"; that dynasty won't last long, for obvious reasons- she'd need a guy to be able to conceive children, and to help to raise the children... as moms have all throughout human existence: having a guy to help to provide for the children is a huge help to ladies in their traditionally favorite role. I did receive an insight into the song, as well as why you chose it. What it strikes me is that if this's about ladies' right to be treated right; then I fully agree. If it is about breaking down traditional values; then why I disagree is that whenever that happens; it is the ladies who end up being seen as "sex-toys"; and that's flat-out *wrong*! These are basically our stepsisters, moms, daughters, and possible future wives; treat them right, or if you don't, you become an abuser.
I love the message of female empowerment, and it's existence within both female heroes and villains.
Just what I was aiming for c:
Awesome thanks
