Mam as it is 8086 is 16bit microprocessor than why we deal with 8bit data in 8255?

8255 is interfacing device that can be connected to any microprocessor not only 8086. It's data bus size is 8 bit

Mam actually my means that 8086 deal with 16bit data but we connect only d0-d7 bit (total 8 bit) to 8255 from transreceiver of 8086
