Amazing how square enix spent 15+ years on FF15 and then this game, with way less time and budget, is much better in every way
My God, you're right... And the worst part is that when FFXV was still under Nomura the story looked really really interesting. It had so much potential
Well platinum games has had experience with games like bayonetta, mad world, and anarchy reigns all you need is a good director and the game comes out golden.
It's development hell honestly, I heard they hired an animation studio to build an entire city and area only to be scrapped afterwards. They have weird workplan which honestly doesn't really gone well and Nomura was blamed for it. The rest is history, game felt rushed because they deleted bunch of assets and they were rushing a new script without relying on Nomura.
FF is a cash cow title, when they want some green milk they squeeze it a little
I wish FF15 did better, but the constant changes it went through sealed it's fate. Sure, I like the game for what it is now, but when it first came out, you could see that rush job to get it done and out to the public.
Ok dude that was too cool. Like all the combos created such madness on screen I was loving every second.
And can I say how hype it was from 9:19 : the slow walk->bomb drop-> bosses rising up in slow motion ->the music ramping up ->the taunt ->into the beserker mode just as the "WARNING" flashes on screen then as the music drops it becomes kick ass action anime style boss fight! SO. DAMN. COOL! 👌

It would have been funny if there was a joke ending where you over level and push A2 just a bit too far in your first battle with her but then she engages B mode and fucking trashes you.

@@shenone3285 She kills every YoRHa she comes across, so i think she would. She only spares 2B and 9S lorewise i think because they dont show immediate hostility (9S hesitating, etc).

the real problem is: the game does not require mastering the combat system, which is a shame. You could go to the role thing spaming light attack.
@@yanlopesteixeira Depends on your difficulty setting. The hardest setting would encourage you to get better with the combat system. (although hard mode is much more difficult than normal)
Just put an auto dodge chip and you're untouchable.
This guy must be a half android himself to be able to beat this challenge legitimately.

This looked like a movie. You started out fairly strong but you weren't disgusting op. You then removed your limiters and became godlike. You got weakened and fought weaker enemies and you climbed up to face the boss and returned to your peak form.

Man this game looks crazy different when the person playing it knows all the mechanics. It's like that person that defeated Metal Gear Ray in like 30 seconds with Jetsteam Sam. Just nuts, and super stylish.

i never even played this game but that was one of the best gameplays ive ever seen. this whole thing felt like a movie, there is such a variety of attacks and a very visible high skill ceiling. the fact that most people who played this game dont seem to know most of these moves makes it even better. this looks like a game very few players were truly able to master
I've played Nier Automata for 200+ hours and you're right, many people can finish the game and still be unable to understand half the tactics and strategies this guy is using..
you can actually just press right click with a spear on normal to obliterate everything. The game only demands this of you on very hard

I love how they used adanm and eve as Shades, because it can also help to understand why they are so special in the game. I can't even imagine to be able to play like this, donguri... are you the real dante?

How masterful, I tried hundreds of times to beat this in easy mode. Make no mistake, with my maximized damage build, I was still killed in one hit. Enemies were still aggressive in this arena nonetheless but at least their HP were significantly lower. I was playing with 2B which has lower damage output than A2 but still no justification for lowered HP relative to very hard difficulty. I made my way to last duo bosses more than ten times and at last beaten them after more than 50 hours of trial. This is a true master of game we are watching, I can easily say from experience. The point of the video was not even defeating this badass arena, but to do it in style. I hate your skills deeply with respect man

hoIyforks iirc +500% dmg is the caps and they dont stack, only highest + taunt chip is counted. What make her deadly is that you can stack taunt and berserk mode dmg boost

@@diegoramos27 taunt raises attack dealt and taken to %180 damage. This guy was playing on very hard so if he gets touched he'll die, so its really just a buff for A2
The game itself is actually very simple about combat.
It's the combination of the simple mechanics that creates the Magic.
It's even more amazing watching knowing what he's doing at the same time.

The damage you do here is insane. My lvl. 99 feels like I’m slapping these lv 130 enemies with a wet noodle

A2 really is an anime protag, or that UBER edgy member of a team that is just so damn condescending due to her knowing how unfairly strong she is. SE really went and put a full blown OP anime character and made A2 a playable character in this amazing game. She was dangerous enough that YoRHA in general regarded her with extreme caution and failed endlessly to stop her after going rogue. Players this good really show how busted she is even according to the game's lore and I love it
The combo at 0:25 is so good
This is so anime... Like, a horde of robots surround A2 and she's like "Omae wa mo shindeiru" and then in the blink of an eye they all explode. Classy shit!

@@chrysshawkey3158 Im just in a rush to get to the CEO, have fully leveled gatling pod and lvl 1 missile and laser pods. Idk if I should stick to mirage or if there's something better for this. Weapon wise and chip wise I'm all good

I loved this game so much that when i eventually got a PC, i bought it for myself on PC
i hate that so much of nier automatas combat system gets lost because of the PC port, switching between two weapon sets is thankfully easy enough, but between pods, much less so as you need to do some crazy wombo combo os scrollwheel up, alt and arrow key

The game is really easy on normal. Play on hard. Its likely that you will be forced to use those fancy tricks. Part of the gameplay at the end of the day. Helps a lot.
