never in my cats 11 years of life has she ever payed attention to one of these, but for some reason this one has her hooked for 30 minutes 😭😭
My cat was having so much fun with this! She was spinning her head around following the fish, and a few times she even tapped at the screen, though it ended up pausing the video or closing out of full screen so I had to fix it for her.
She would get annoyed if I tried to take the iPad from her, but she fell asleep so I turned it off

Whenever it's playtime for my cat, I play this on my desktop and lock the keyboard (some keyboards have a lock function like fn+f11 that makes it so the keys won't work when pressed) and my two kittens (one is a big cat now, one still a kitten) love it, always looking around and tapping the monitor all around (sometimes, I even set it on 1.5x speed and they still follow that fast xD)

My cat would wake me up daily at 4:30 to play. I would open the window shades so he could watch the sun rise and put this on the tv while I went back to sleep for another hour before my alarm went off. He was always so content doing that as his morning routine. Now I have a new kitten since my baby boy passed on 2 years ago. She loves this video and it is now her morning routine❤️

I’m not even a cat I just like watching this video. Seemingly staring into the blue abyss for hours on end alongside my estranged aquatic friends swimming endlessly. With no defined purpose, just moving because they can. Pacing back and forth between the confines of my phone display eternally exhausted. Never escaping. This is the only thing that calms my cat. She legit doesn’t move just stares in awe.
That's much better than walking on the keyboard and pausing the video every time the spacebar is pressed, or changing the display settings, or resizing and closing the video. Eventually the cat kind of figured out he was causing the video to be screwed up and stopped pouncing at the screen, but he unfortunately went to the wrong conclusion because of course it wasn't touching the screen, it was the keys below it, so he couldn't quite figure out why the video still got messed up even when he stopped pawing at the screen.

Got this for my cat to stop his midnight zoomies. At first, he was playing happily, but one time he attacked the fish, got spooked by something and preformed two consecutive jumps on all fours. It looked hilarious. I never saw him jump so high up and backwards at the same time.
