Well I wish I had better news but half way through day one the 4630 blew the hydraulic pump and broke down for the 3rd year in a row chopping silage, then a knife broke on the chopper and took out the knife drum so we are officially done chopping for the year and are hiring someone to come custom chop it for us. I will have a video posted soon of what we did get accomplished yesterday. Thanks for watching!
Hi Vonnie, Not too complicated just a lot of work when you run older equipment. You can always expect that something will break. It's not a matter of if it will break but when it will break. Unfortunately we were unable to finish our field since our chopper broke (watch for the next video for details). So we are hiring someone to come a custom chop it for us. Thanks for watching!
G'day, good luck with the rest of the silage, it normally wet when we cut ours too. Hope you get some more rain after you have cut it all.

Hmmm… I just googled silage since I’m not real familiar. Sounds a bit like a complicated process.
