6 A.M. It’s Still dark and Cold outside, i’m walking through my sleepy village listening to this for the first time. Goosebumps. Thank you Vindsval. Thank you Black Metal Promotion, you made my day.
Certainly there are influences from all the Memoria Vetusta albums (perhaps more from Saturnian Poetry than any other). But at times I felt like this is a spiritual successor to The Eye and their second album which was never released. Well, who knows? All in all this is just one more stellar release from Vindsval (not that it comes as any sort of surprise anymore but still...).
@@DeathBYDesign666 No. I meant that, perhaps, he will continue that "pending" path with BAN. Forhist is like a way to walk the same previous path with a free pass. Am I being clear?
Eh, not really. Memoria trilogy, especially II has way more emphasis on melodies. This definitely sounds composed by vindsval, but it's way too dumbed down intentionally to be a blut aus nord release. This feels like he's trying to capture a specific essence, but in a more straight forward, less sophisticated black metal way. I'm saying this kinda drunk and after relistening to just one specific track for the first time in a while so I'm actually going to relisten to the whole album now and maybe my opinion will change 😅 🙃 let's see
Yeah, definitely far from blut aus nord. I think this was also a first, or at least a first in a long time, to where he physically played all the instruments so like, with that being said I can see why this album would be a bit more simple musically compared to blut aus nord. And this album is also a lot less dark than blut aus nord tends to lean, even memoria has this beautiful, yet demonic sense to it. Like something out of the mind of Wayne Barlowe, but in a musical sense

Vindsval music is like a big Magnum Opus. Such a brilliant composer.
what an extremely beautiful album cover! probably my favourite black metal cover of all time. it fills me with love.
Unique cover-artwork. I noticed a sleeping wolf cub in the center of the artwork only from the third glance.
Absolutely MASTERPIECE Album !!! Vindsval is a Genius !!!👌🤘👍🤗👊
This is a great album! I love the mix between high accessibility and pure chaos and agression! It's mixed really well!
Love how it's just the fox sleeping by itself while being protected by the surrounding forest.
Overall, the music is just great!
that's not forest, it's a cumberland sausage
The fox is how I knew I needed to hear this.
Bons!! 👏👏👏.. 🦅🤟🦅
Surprisingly fast and raw for atmospheric BM, with very good melodies. Hell yes!
As expected from Vindsval
@@Homm3dude88 Indeed Vindsval never disappoints.
Excellent álbum such a magnificent cover...
Very beautiful and original black metal, thank you so much.
Fantastic, very atmospheric music!
I Just Realized... There's a fox on the album cover. Isn't?... It's sleeping 🦊💤💤
Yep.
hehehe... Cheers BMP 🥂
Could be a wolf or coyote, can't really tell relative size or color.
Si
@@DeathBYDesign666 Forhist / Blut Aus Nord are from France, so it's a fox.
Year 2021 but black metal is alive!
Memoria Vetusta IV? Hail Vindsval! 🤘🔥
Yeah pretty much! This is only a different band in name alone, it has all the BaN trademarks.
Wasn't Hallucinogen = Memoria Vetusta IV ?
Vindsval is massively talented, amazing album
The best album of 2021. I wait for Darkthrone Eternal hails.
Well thank you BMP this will be a strong contender for the 2021 yearlist. Weird that nobody discusses the Satyricon The Shadowthrone influences.
Yeah its very similar how the tracks are laid out.
How I miss old Satyricon...
Cosmos solar system tragedy of men, no hope, no live in our ad astra!
Wonderful music To celebrate our darkness!
Вот такой блэк мне по духу!
Thnx for your music!
Questo si preannuncia come uno dei candidati a disco Black dell’anno 🤘🏻
Damn that sound. It's beautiful

My first thought was "sounds a lot like Blut Aus Nord" and what do you know, it's Vindsval's side project.
I'm not seeing any distinction between the two. If by side project he means making another blut aus nord album and giving it a different name.
Superbe album bravo l'artiste 🤘🎶😎🎶🤘
There's A Well Disserved Place In The Moonlover's Collection For This Masterpiece! Infinite Thanks To Forhist And Black Metal Promotion 🕯️🙏🏻🕯️
I absolutely love the cover art!

Amazing album! Really good vibe

Inspired in Blut Aus Nord's "Forhist", maybe?
Edit: Now I know that this is also Vindsval

Dagnabbit, yet another album I absolutely must have. You do realize what you guys are doing to my bank account, right? :-p
i have the same feeling..... :)
Vindsval always delivers
II, IV, VIII the more ''melodic'' ones that remind me of Cosmosophy. If they put more chants in the background, it would apply more mysticism :)
Thank you! It's beautiful!
Nice Ourofox :P Haven't hear this, so let's see "what does the fox say" ;)
Phenomenal 🤘
This channel is bad for my wallet 🤣
Last tracks sound like Blut Aus Nord, pretty good album.
@@GR1338 Oh I guess that makes sense, Forhist is the title of a song in Memoria Ventusta III.
This gives me serious memoria vetusta vibes. I honestly don't see why it's not just another BaN release, it's already such a diverse catalog of music.
I think that since "Hallucinogen" there is, kind of, no way back
@@El_Diavolo Are you saying Vindsval is trying to disguise himself from his own image now?
