Gopro with Remo, so I could start and stop by voice command or push button. I normally wore the Remo on my shirt collar, and Gopro was mounted on the front thwart with a handlebar type mount.
@@gymcoachdon oh wow solid man... thanks for your response ! I use the go pro alot .. I hook it up to a battery extender you can buy them on amazon.. you can record all day using the looping feature... where it records and erases last 5 mins and only when you click record a 2nd time it saves the catch... i am looking forward to my first trip to Quetico... @@tristiancox3422 I use a lithium battery "brick" to recharge all my electronics while on the trips. This is the one I used: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X5RV14Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used it for 7-8 days, recharging my InReach, Gopro batteries, point and shoot camera, and my handheld GPS. After the trip, it was still half full, so I feel it would be good for 10 days at least. I took my first canoe trip ever in 2015, fully outfitted to the BWCA solo, then a trip with my son and 2 brothers back to the BWCA in 2016. The Quetico trip was 2017, and this past year I did a fly in-paddle out trip to Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. This year, I will be heading back to Quetico with my son in mid June. Not sure of the route yet.
Why do you use that fish holder and hold the pike straight up, rater than sideways? By doing this you injury the jaw and gills and end up killing the fish after the release. You should only use a net or your hand. I've fished the MC since 1967 to 1997 and I cry when I see you handle these special fish!

What kind of camera set up did you have this? GO Pro? Mount?
