1:15 - Any tips on how to practice and consistently get the "dash - Side step right - df3+4"? I really struggle with that (I'm not even sure if it's necessarily required or if it's optional to do, but it still seems hard to do)

might be inconsistent, since most of the combos in my videos are self-discovered or well known by the community, I don't usually look for these routes on youtube.
I feel like these combos are all severely inconsistent and I am also fairly sure those "alternative launchers" dont mean anything because half the time the combos dont even work with the launcher 1:02 whiffs if you stand too close while doing ws2

huh? I'm well aware of it. then dash into block to get another df2 or backdash into whiff punish. 90% of the people don't know this tech so don't worry, it'll hit 100% of the time even if the opponent knows this option
if you're having trouble landing it, it's best to use easier combo unless you can land it 100% of the time. there is no timing involve, just do a qcf3+4 after recovering from df3+4
I'm losing my mind because I don't know if I'm just bad or doing the wrong input. At 0:33 the 1 in the 2,1 df 4 just never connects for me. It says "dash" before 2,1 but I've tried dashing about 80 times now and it's just never enough time. Do I need to learn how to micro dash for this?

I'm working on all the characters, only 2-3 characters are unaffected by the changes, rest of the cast has better routes or nerfed damage

delay the last two inputs just a bit so the enemy's feet almost touches the ground, it picks up more than it looks

both work, micro dash is better in most cases. if you delay df3+4 just a little bit then you don't even need dash for df3.
also you don't need a micro dash specifically, you have more than enough for a normal dash after df3+4

@@HostileAtHeart yo dude the df input here means hold df after 2,1 to go into his crouchdash and do the 4 option which is axe kick from crouch dash

time 1 input correctly, you're supposed to press punch button when he hits the ground not before hitting the ground.
