    I 3d print chameleon TRC-4B minitures and record sheets for teaching sessions. Everyone gets to keep thier mech and sheet.

      @@agamelift the elegoo mars resin printer line is good place to start. Resin printers have a bit more cost outside just the printer, when compared to FDM, but has much better resultuon. Expect, about 150 to 250 dollars extra when you start.

    Good work on to adapt the rules for real beginners. 2023 will be a Battletech year, a lot of new players will come in. Can't wait for more videos!

      Fortunately, locally, we dont have to deal with issues like that in person normally. Perhaps get acquainted with players of similar mindset and set up private games? Then nothing to think about but Battletech! Thanks for stopping in!

      Humans will act in all sorts of inappropriate ways to avoid cognitive dissonance. Unfortunately, GWs business model generates large amounts of cognitive and emotional dissonance, and people create mental barriers to assuage that dissonance. Then something like BattleTech comes along and disrupts their coping strategies with how much they have invested in WH/D&D. The solution is, of course, to remember to have fun without making "fun" some commodity that you sacrifice blood, sweat, tears and relationships to obtain.
