Lmfao Nathan Fielder gives himself so much shit, but his comedic timing in this entire interview was absolutely spot-on. He’s the most subtly brilliant comedian out there right now.
man you guys are crazy, that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Fuck fake-ass interviews where everything is fake and scripted. I like seeing hosts squirm when someone takes the talk out of their control.
I miss this show. Here bc of Smetty on Lebatard Show talking about The Rehersal on HBO and Nathan for You. Discovered the comedic brilliance of Craig Ferguson and this show around this time. Maybe a little later. Always assumed it was lame when he took over so I never watched until I gave it a chance for some unknown reason. Whenever it was I got hooked and then was so sad when it was over. Might have to start rewatching some episodes.
I am now positive that in order to know nathan fielder you have to meet him in person. The guy knows how to carry his bit around. Even Craig said it once: "You are commiting and everything". Nathan Comedy is gold for me but one has to consider if Craig's comedy and Nathan's Comedy are so far apart in terms of style that are almost imcompatible. Sure i love both and i consider both great but they are way waaaay to different
Couldn't agree more! Except not totally, but mostly! ... I kinda liked to see how sweet these two are together. Did much better then they could have considering what you just mentioned.
I think it's cos Nathan's always the smartest one in the room, but Craig sees through the gag, so it's like two guys trying to get one over each other and not be got by the other. I found this interview very interesting, the mental game they're playing. The water thing was definitely a bluff and a call.
“Even Craig said it once: “You are committing and everything”… He also ended the segment by saying “aaaaand scene”, recognizing that the whole interview was just an improv put on, by Fielder.
I've been to probably 15 to 220 therapists in my life and I've never had a single one make a suggestion that helped or make a suggestion at all. All they do is sit there and listen and write down notes that the patient isn't allowed to see. I've never had anyone actually suggest anything useful or give their opinion, so therapy is completely pointless
Nathan, David blaine, and Steven Wright should get together and have a podcast. It would be the most drone, basic, average podcast in the history of podcasts
Im now in usa but having been an Aussie for a good portion of my life I can safely say that Australians call it a Platypus (the duck bill thing is never used in conversation) But Craig is too cute, who can fault him? :-)
It's funny to see the three or four people that watched this to see Nathan and seem to have no idea who Craig is 😂. When a channel uploads a FULL EPISODE it's for the show, not the one guy that's on for 7mins at the end of the show. But, your buddy timestamped it for you in the comments section
pregnant........ moose........... these two don't get on because they both need a chuckle. it's a battle of wit with little appreciation. still good for me tho
Craig (the Craig in the video) is hilarious. Skip the monologues and filler, and I think you'd take a liking to him. He was the antithesis of the average late nite host, in the same way that Nathan is, for "fix-your-business" shows
Craig is hyperactive and doesn't relish the awkward pause like Nathan... it was endearing to see the two of them try to sync up at the end when they did the hamster roleplay. The water gag was also funny in a very meta way
You can see Nathan trying hard to make situation awkward but Craig manages to curve the curve ball
Exactly what I was thinking! Lol
Craig’s charisma broke through Nathan’s comedy armor. Amazing to watch.
31:12 Nathan Fielder
u get me
Doing god's work
ty

Allan Adrien im forwarding a screenshot of your comment to the police
Craig Ferguson was so great, and it was hilarious to see him have no idea how to handle Nathan's monotone delivery
One of the only interviews where I’ve felt Nathan wasn’t in complete control lol
This is what I came to comment - absolutely spot on.
Nathan Fielder needs to be on the show a lot more. That was hysterical.
Lmfao Nathan Fielder gives himself so much shit, but his comedic timing in this entire interview was absolutely spot-on. He’s the most subtly brilliant comedian out there right now.
Actually no, then and even today, Tig Notaro is the comedian who fits that bill more than he does
That joke about "Living on the other side, they're dead" joke was fucking amazing
omg this is the first time I see Nathan fielder being like "this guy is more awkward than me"
32:17 "I noticed when Selma came out, you complimented the way she looked, are you gonna..." lololol, excellent job Nathan
“Okay I’ll save it then”
Wtf 😂😂😂
I don't know about others .. but this show is helping through my shitty life ..thanks for uploading

it’s a tough match cause Nathan’s bit is being intentionally awkward but Ferguson is too used at making some of his nervous guests seem charming
@@Winteramen that makes sense
Oh nathan feilder, perhaps your awkward comedy is too awkward for this show.
Nathan is a walking awkward pause.
Didn't Nathan use a clip from this appearance in his 4th season episode to demonstrate that he really is terrible at Talk Shows?
no
Lol exactly why I’m here :P I’m surprisingly impressed. He fuckin killed this interview! I’m still wiping tears from laughter
yeah, the part where he says "i'm from vancouver"
its cool how you can see the most replayed part of the video and its clearly nathan lol
"hot dog humor"
I don't know who Nathan Fielder is but I actually think that he fits perfectly into the show :D
Nathan For You... hopefully you've seen it by now!
Now that's how you improv
There is NOTHING wrong with Selma's thighs. She is lovely in every way.
there is something wrong with them, they're not wrapped around my head
their style don’t match but no one loses
He takes his quiet moments when he's already over time - just to f*** with 'em.
GREAT guests
Nathan is the purest funniest guy in the game

? u ok dawg? 😭
Nathan starts at 31:20
this quality is so much better than your previous uploads? not complaining, but what's the deal?
nathan is so babygirl
So you're the new Dr. Pinch...
Thank you so much for the uploads. :)
he goes from passive awkward to active awkward towards the end
We should have Valentine's days every month
Nathan, David blaine, and Steven Wright should get together and have a podcast. It would be the most drone, basic, average podcast in the history of podcasts
That was a truly bizarre outfit for her to wear on a talk show! Or anywhere that wasn't a dancing Jazzy stage performance😂
'Oh yeah, that's right, laugh at the foreign guy's accent!'
Why do his sorries sound American here? Damn you LA!
Im now in usa but having been an Aussie for a good portion of my life I can safely say that Australians call it a Platypus (the duck bill thing is never used in conversation) But Craig is too cute, who can fault him? :-)
It's called duck-billed only in America. Americans are too stupid to not recognize one without the longer name.
Ha. I have not watched this in ages. I forgot about Lesbian row. LOLOL

Craig is the host I think
@@FeverBonus nah he's the skeleton that was subconscious about his legs.
How ironic, now that TH-cam shows the most viewed section of a video and it clearly shows the last 7 minutes were the reason most people were here.
The animals are normal
And then the wheels came right off
i love 😍 craig's handwaving
luh luh luh legs
"Now you can a celebrity because you're a skank and on TV" 😂
pregnant........ moose........... these two don't get on because they both need a chuckle. it's a battle of wit with little appreciation. still good for me tho
also he could've taken home the liquid inside the mug by transferring it to his belly
those legs 24:35
I was a carny too!
Oh, so, he is a comedic genius............
Lol that 8:04 says it all!
Lol
this is not funny
This is the most normie late night show I've ever seen and that says a lot
I don't think you understand what ure talking about
nathan somehow making this annoying and unfunny host hilarious just proves to me he is one of the best comedians out there!!!
Craig (the Craig in the video) is hilarious. Skip the monologues and filler, and I think you'd take a liking to him. He was the antithesis of the average late nite host, in the same way that Nathan is, for "fix-your-business" shows
As a Canadian, I apologize for Nathan Fielder. That was just awkward.
That's his comedy style he's always on character, he's like a modern Andy Kaufman, sorry you had to wait 4 years for the answer.
Craig cut him off and didn’t let him do his bits. Pretty lame on his part.
Craig is hyperactive and doesn't relish the awkward pause like Nathan... it was endearing to see the two of them try to sync up at the end when they did the hamster roleplay. The water gag was also funny in a very meta way
@@YarrBr0 craig doesn't relish the awkward pause , what the hell the man ends almost every interview with one
One doesn’t apologize for their greatest export to date.
