I notice you placing the rod in a holder and opening the bail on the reel while you work on the fish to get the hook out. I do a similar thing., with clicker on. Keeps things out of the way and safer, I think. Really like the Yar Craft!
Hey thanks for watching yeah it works real well especially when I fish by myself that way there’s tension on the line but yet I don’t put a hook in my finger because the bail is completely shut . Thanks again so much for taking a look at us we appreciate it and the comments .

Hey buddy it’s all good there is plenty of fish out there for everyone and we’re not about not helping people . We haven’t hit the jig bite yet because we just got in the water the other day and trolled. If you’re wanting to jig try hitting some of the reefs that are out in front of Davis Besse . If you’re wanting to troll and catch some big fish like we did in our show I suggest fishing the south of south bass island . That’s where we filmed most of our show as you can see . As far as floaters and ice we saw just a little bit . If you’re coming up this week just be very careful and take it nice and easy and keep a lookout . Why am I watching this and NOT ON THE WATER?! haha. I went to Huron last Monday and chased them for hours and didn't mark many.. then got home and heard they were closer to PIB, looks like you guys are even farther west.
We were just taking a test run and took some cameras just in case and hit a couple spots and got on a good pack of 5-7 lbs. fish . We were south of PIB in 33fow fish are on the move we will be filming next week some jig shows so hit the notification bell so you will be notified when the shows get posted and thanks for watching we really appreciate it . Lake Erie has the highest amount of fish we have ever had. We also have been harvesting big females since before I was born. Weather effects the hatch more than hook and line ever will. And that's straight from the ODNR Biologists. No worries!
Lake Erie currently has 150 million legal sized (15inch or plus) walleye, on average the yearly harvest by anglers is in the 2-3 million range. Harvesting big girls will not hurt this population at all. Its actually kind of insane how many fish there are out there
