They are definitely are model of true heroes that needs and Optimus Prime can join them as well living up to the quote “Be strong enough to be gentle”.
I'm 43 and Cap has always been my favorite hero. Even throughout the 90s when he wasn't cool and everybody liked the "anti-heroes" that killed like Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Punisher, etc. Cap was always my guy.
Cap may have been more accepting of the super human registration act if Maira Hill didn't try to force him to sign on at gun point before it even was made law. A lot of characters were acting out of character to make Civil War happen and continue for as long as it did.
What else can be said about these two. They're not just any heroes, they're "the" heroes. The ones that put others ( harmless civilians and hero partners) before themselves.
Between the two, Superman is my favorite DC superhero! All his best movies, comics, and cartoons show how heroic Superman is and can be. The following comics show how good Superman is: All Star Superman, Man of Steel, Superman Peace on Earth, Kingdom Come, Superman/Batman Last Daughter of Krypton, Superman/Batman Public Enemies, Superman Last Son, War of the Supermen, the Death and Return of Superman, and Superman Son of Superman
It's crazy to think that theaw characters started in funny books and war propaganda and now they're starring in multi-hundred million dollars movies. One can even argue that Cap, Superman, Batman and Spider-man are the greatest American myths.
On the other hand, I never was a huge fan of the characters like Superman or even the Hulk and the super OP heroes. I do gravitate towards the characters that aren't bulletproof and are vulnerable. Feels like there are higher stakes and more to root for.
I honestly think it should be Superman, Spiderman and then Captain America. Superman shows how someone with all the power chooses to serve others. Which I don't think most people can relate to that since we are not born tgat lucky. Unlike Spiderman who doesn't have much, doesn't have the strongest powers and chooses to do what right and help out the little guy. Despite all his pain and losses (Uncle Ben, Gwen Stacy, Captain Stacy, Harry Osborn, etc) he inspires people to do what right since anyone can be Spiderman and be behind the mask, helping people is a choose that anyone can make.
I picture a new superhero from the Ben 10 franchise who embodies what Captain America and Superman stand for and then some, heck, what they stand for is this new superhero's main power source. Its name is Trix, and it is the offspring of Ben Tennyson and Eunice from an alternate universe. Trix can control its own gender and sexuality at will and is essentially a living Omnitrix and Unitrix in human form, being able to change into any other species, including Anodites and others like them, at will instead of having a piece of machinery attached, and can adjust itself to be like a living/human version of any/every other trix mechanic imaginable. Its limits, of course, being the concept of virtue as a whole.
With publication going back to the 30's and 40's, there have been instances where they've been written with a bad understanding of their character. Plus Injustice Superman is very explicitly a broken alternate version of Superman, just like when Marvel explained the retcon to ignore the 50's cap stuff they created the the William Burnside cap as a manifestation of Jingoism to contrast Steve Rodgers patriotism.

I have a couple of heroes that I would say best embodies true heroism the flashes Nightwing Spider-Men (Peter Parker & Miles Morales)
The two heroes/boyscouts dressed in red and blue.
Captain America: I'm a Super Soldier.
Clark: I'm Superman.

A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart. (Zeus in Disney's Hercules)

Why does captain America and superman embody real heroism is because they are wearing the red white and blue.

I would love to see what you have to say about the new Superman trailer!
Hmmm good video I give like and sub
You sound like Candace when she gets too close to wild parsnips
This is true unless Captain America is in an X-Men book 😂
Yo Let’s Talk Comics Please Do What If Homelander was In The DC Verse!
He would get stomped by Superman 😂
I am assuming this video is ignoring Injustice Superman
