What I don't accept is playback on concerts.

Yes John Fogarty was a legend great band of the the early 70s,credence Clearwater Revival. And Also another artist who also did it was Tina Turner in the latter years, although she sung it quicker version. Was brilliant..
its surprising that in the 50s 60s 70s 80s & early 90s,music was far better,than it is in 2020s,you would think with all the technology that there is now,that it would be the other way round,but certainly not the case,just shows how talentend the singer,s were in the past,much better than what can get produced now,even with the technology,they still can,t sing.

My sincere "Thank you" for serving in the Air Force. Imagine being your age back in 1969 and having an option to be in the Space Force! Forward... to the front! Maine says to say "Hello". I turned 12 the year this song came out, Matchbox and Hotwheels cars included right along with the sweet-sounding music, too.

The First time I saw her Walking Up to me was in Dezember 1969 at Bremen Airport..in her 19 years wearing a Sweude leather coat and black high heals have me thrill of my life.Unfortunstely it didn't,' Turn Put in the end - the Long Time of seperation because of the Army spoilt my dream --- but everytime this Song ist played, proud Mary from Birmingham comes into my head and goosebumps on my back
