      han77 3, Yes, yes, our body is a very complicated network of nerves, muscles, ligaments, tendons and other tissues that all connect with each other. So, addressing only one area alone is not enough; it is rather wishful thinking. When pain is being felt in one particular area of the body, it does not mean at all that that precise spot is the source of the problem. Often, the real root of the pain may come from a totally different part of the body.

    The patient said he had been to "6 of 7" chiropractors. So obviously, there are good chiropractors and there are bad ones. But every one of them says they are a good one and not like some of the others. How do we know the difference, when every last one of them say they are better than the rest?

      +Taylor Gaddy You will know if you have a good DC when they know where you hurt without having to tall them and when you put your head in their hands if they are confident in their adjustment rather than iffy. Experience and expertise is also important www.advancedhoustonchiropractor.com for an appointment.

    • @hirofarre
      @hirofarre 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Advanced Chiropractic Relief Your comment scares me xD so if the chiropractor isn't confident with your head in their hands...that sounds like if they were really iffy about themselves, they would actually end up killing me or another patient by snapping the neck.
      I still appreciate chiropractors none-the-less. I visited one before after a little car crash to help me with my lower back nerve pain and it was wonderful.

      Make sure first that the chiropractor sees himself as a "corrective" chiropractor. Next ask him if he should see you beyond the point that you are "fixed". If he only wants to see you when you hurt, you may want to move on to the next chiropractor. You can also tell a doctor's knowledge by listening to him talk. Dr. Johnson knows his physiology and anatomy. He is invested and God-sent!

      It's the physical comparison, when taking oral pain relivers and picking an NSAID over an analgesic.
      Regardless of the type, you're still taking it orally and processing it through the gastrointestinal tract.

      Me too and I guess I'm a crack addict like the Dr said.That towel pulling around your neck feels like your neck fix in to come off. I had that at a massage once and it hurts like a mfr

    Have had chiro adjustments for 20+ years in OZ with 4 different chiropractors .Non of them displayed the variations described in these videos

    Got another question, my doctor feels my back and then does one adjustment by pushing on my back one time and then does the leg to one side and then the other leg. It feels fine but, next day the pain feels either just above or below the Las adjustment. Feels like he is just creating a wave of the spine. I noticed you get all the spine and if you feel you missed a pop on the back you go over and get the vertebra adjusted. That is great,!. Let's say there was one vertebra that did not adjust, that will cause pain until adjusted right? I watch all of your videos and I love your technique, I wish we had a doctor like you here in WASHINGHTON. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT, GOD BLESS.

    nice work doc! do u ever do follow up visits on these patients? I can definitely see the patient having relief right after u adjust their back but I would like to see how they do after weeks after their visit with you. I'm interested cause I have bulges and facet syndrome. I got 2 epidural shots and no relief. I live in California and I always watch your videos in hope to one of this days come and and visit you out there.

    I have to book a flight to come to see you, Dr. Johnson!!!!! I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I think you're the only one who can help me. This video reminds me of ME. I know my glutes, piriformis (sp?), calves, feet, neck, back, well hell's bells, it's pretty much everything! I've been to chiropractors and suffice it to say I'm not impressed because I never had anything happen except to feel worse. (I have a fused lower spine at L5-S1 with Medtronic metal rods, screws, and cages...not sure if that makes a difference or not).

      You are not, before the Doc went to chiropractic school he installed hard wood floors and built decks in the summer. He used those tools on himself snd then decided he would help the world. In his most recent years he has gotten lazy and long retired those amazing tools because they no longer fit into his treatment narrative

    I saw that red 'jigsaw' modified to perform percussive massage on the piriformis and the iliotibial band. Amazing idea.

    Dr. Johnson I live in San Antonio and was wondering if you had a recommendation for a Chiropractor in my location possibly? Been dealing with sciatic nerve pain and hamstring strain. Thank you, you're awesome!
