I don't doubt though, that Conner and the people would get hurt from the high fall and might have been rushed to the hospital, but that would have been better than dying. i think the loss of your own child, especially at a young age is one of the very worst things that parents can face. i myself nearly died at the age of 16 and later talked a lot about this time with my parents, especially my mother.
Some don't understand how or why animal lovers can take the sickness and death of a pet as if they lost a family member. I lost several and each one left how I felt such a vast emptiness in my heart. I have a memorial of most of them such as big posters on the wall, pictures on the bookshelf, and even had some cremated. I never want to forget them. One of the ones I had put down due illness had me uncontrollably crying through the hold procedure. As the vet gave the final injection and my Heather was passing away, she started wagging her tale as if she was extremely happy. My vet said he had never experienced that in his 15 years of practice. Coincidence? I don't think so. I think maybe she was telling me goodbye and everything will be okay when we meet again. Some that have been through the same thing tell me they will not get another dog again, as they don't ever go through that again. I believe this is wrong and we should continue to give a happy home to dogs, cats, etc. I know I'm long winded.

This video reminds me of my best friend" Chubs " ( Tony ) who has been battling terminal cancer ( stage 4 stomach cancer ) since November . When I first heard about it, I was devastated by it, he's been my best friend for approximately 2 years now, and I don't know what I'd do without him . He's always been there for me whenever I need him. The doctor said that he only has a few weeks left. It's destroyed him. He's half the man he used to be, and it's not easy to see him like this. I just wish there was something I could do to help. I feel powerless. Despite all of this, Tony still manages to make me laugh, and he still makes me feel like I'm the only person in the world that matters to him, and he always manages to make me smile. I just wish I could click my fingers and have a magic cure for cancer.

This song got me through the death of my first son, when he passed away a day before birth. I just lost my second son a handful of weeks ago, he would have been 21 this Dec. now this song just brings tears to my eyes, I can't stop them from flowing, and a pray that they are together looking down over us over this holiday season. Now the scar has been ripped open and is not healing. It never will. It will remain this open wound that is tender. Not sure I want to do this again.

I totally agree with you, I could never handed that at all ever ! One of my good friends young son died in a tragic accident, the funeral was so incredibly sad ,beyond sad ! I give them so much credit, their marriage got stronger when alot of marriages break up after a loser like that ! The doctors said she could have no more children and she had 2 more boys ,GOD IS GOOD ,even when it's hard to believe!

This song makes me very emotional for many reasons. Was a favorite of my mother's and as child she explained to me that Eric Clapton wrote this song for his son who accidentally fell from a 2 story window and died.

Mom was very faithful to her relationship with God. Right down to the very end. It was in no way peaceful or quick. She suffered so much.. For about 18 months. But, I was there to hold her hand. Many of us were.
Weird thing is.. My mom loved this song and told me the story behind it as a kid, about Eric Clapton's son, but I never new his name... And I adopted a son, but sadly my mom only got to know him for about 12 months, but she loved him so fiercely in a short time. Long story short, his name is Connor. Just like Eric Clapton's son... Makes me sad.

I cry at this song and " wind beneath my wings" song by Bette Miller, as it was the other song I had played at my mom's funeral. When I first heard Bette sing that song it reminded me of my mom. i think the loss of your own child, especially at a young age is one of the very worst things that parents can face. i myself nearly died at the age of 16 and later talked a lot about this time with my parents, especially my mother.

Some don't understand how or why animal lovers can take the sickness and death of a pet as if they lost a family member. I lost several and each one left how I felt such a vast emptiness in my heart. I have a memorial of most of them such as big posters on the wall, pictures on the bookshelf, and even had some cremated. I never want to forget them. One of the ones I had put down due illness had me uncontrollably crying through the hold procedure. As the vet gave the final injection and my Heather was passing away, she started wagging her tale as if she was extremely happy. My vet said he had never experienced that in his 15 years of practice. Coincidence? I don't think so. I think maybe she was telling me goodbye and everything will be okay when we meet again. Some that have been through the same thing tell me they will not get another dog again, as they don't ever go through that again. I believe this is wrong and we should continue to give a happy home to dogs, cats, etc. I know I'm long winded.

This video reminds me of my best friend" Chubs " ( Tony ) who has been battling terminal cancer ( stage 4 stomach cancer ) since November . When I first heard about it, I was devastated by it, he's been my best friend for approximately 2 years now, and I don't know what I'd do without him . He's always been there for me whenever I need him. The doctor said that he only has a few weeks left. It's destroyed him. He's half the man he used to be, and it's not easy to see him like this. I just wish there was something I could do to help. I feel powerless. Despite all of this, Tony still manages to make me laugh, and he still makes me feel like I'm the only person in the world that matters to him, and he always manages to make me smile.
I just wish I could click my fingers and have a magic cure for cancer.
