More e30 videos! Would love to see a track/auto cross vintage day with it. Awesome garage btw
Thanks man! I have a few videos of it at autocross, I’ll try to get those out.
I understand your sentiment. There is nothing more satisfying then restoring and/or upgrading your car but modern cars generally have limited room for significant improvements. Even the engine performance upgrade you did to the F-Type, while it yielded impressive results, was relatively simple and probably pushing at the edge of drive train durability. Older cars like those out of the 80s and 90s can frankly be as much or more fun. They are (so far) still reasonably priced, at a technology level that provides for great driving experience yet is not overwhelming for the average mechanic and they need A LOT of help. Thanks for the videos, life is busy and I know these take up a bunch of your time. Looking forward to see more of the E30 videos.
Thanks brother! I really appreciate the comment, cars of that era are so simple and have a awesome personality!
Hey
Do you have a video about the clutch paddle that doesn’t fully return? I have the same problem
Yea I do, that’s the slave cylinder and master cylinder
Is this a 318 or 325? I’m looking at buy a touring!
I had a 318i 👍🏼
Such a great car... I love that thing! I have been toying with the idea of buying a convertible that is available near me.
Do it man! They really are pretty awesome
Hi Conor,
I have been looking for cold air intakes for my F type R and I could only fina mina Gallery Intakes. However, They seem to cause more heat sink than OEM filters so I avoided them.I have been trying to find Yellowwolf Cold Air intakes and couldn't find them anywhere. Are you selling yours if u still have them?
What’s up man? Yea yellow wolf went out of business. Unfortunately, I sold my car with the intakes on it..
@@skrrtgarage3922 thanks for the reply man. Keep killin it👌
please please, drop all that footage. doesn't even have to be professionally edited but it would help me and my e30 touring.
I will! I just have to get through it all
how much did the car and import process cost?
This question deserves a whole video
Absolutely right! So many variables depending on how it was shipped and which port it goes through, the insurance and everything in between.
good car for daily?
Not ideal, didn’t have A/C and things tend to need replacing on a thirty year old car. But very much doable
@@skrrtgarage3922 was looking to get one, living in Texas is hard with no AC, possible to install with factory engine? :)
AC was available, but rare. In Europe AC wasn't common until around the late 90's. So imported tourings with AC are pretty special.
Where did you buy this car from? A German importer? I think these wagons looks sick to be honest
Yea, it was imported from the UK though.
Big ol’ like, comment, and subscribe right here
Can I like this comment twice??
Bro I’m thinking about buying this it’s on fb marketplace 😂
Haha that’s funny, I have a lot of videos I haven’t released yet. But the car is amazing
Super happy with my e30 touring. It's my daily driver. 1989 318i
Just sell it all and keep that Black Series :)
I like that idea 😁
