It's really hard for me to say one is the greatest but this is one of the greatest verses ever written by anyone in my opinion. The fact that he is obviously talking about Proof and God ... That's a whole lot of power. Yellawolf accents this verse like a Godsend.

I was raised in a very conservative religious household by my mom. Dad on the other hand wasn't much of a church guy. They stayed married 46 years until just a few months ago when I lost him unexpectedly from complications of the coronavirus. I have to search in my heart, and I have to believe that there is some place beautiful where he is. Someplace where there is no more sickness. Someplace only the worthy can be bestowed upon the veil of Christ. If heaven means I get to hug my daddy again, then damn it, there is a heaven, in my opinion

This song is one of my top favs of all song. Of Yela’s as well as Em. I grew up in a religious family so I’m more inclined to be spiritual and I do believe in God, I however am more like these guys (yela more specifically) where I’m gunna live my life as best as I can but not a bible thumper as I feel like I can’t trust something that Man has written down after years of verbal passing down of the stories. I have tats and I drink and smoke weed and all that good jazz but I won’t feel guilty about it because we gotta live! That is the gift of life. I appreciate the morals and all but to me, God….is. We can make a plea but for the most part we oughta do things ourselves. Faith shouldn’t be blind. Otherwise it’s not really faith. Question everything you believe in. And if, in the end, you still believe, well more power to you. Blind faith means nothing to me. I am not a fan of people in general, but I believe in the good of them. I was trying to answer the question you posed and went off on a tangent. I guess I believe in a finite amount of energy in our universe and that we’re all a part of it but that energy IS God. Because where did that finite energy one from in the first place.
