Wow, this is brilliant, it shows that the money will go directly to the hand of the beneficiaries, this government is setting up a good foundation, it'll promote accountability, my only concern is if the next president after Tinubu will continue with this good scheme and reform.
It sounds credible from the mouth of government insider. To be fair, it will give Nigeria a good credit system, but running the system for the benefit of the country will be dependent on integrity of the individuals at the helm.

Providing a line of credit is what Banks are there for. No financial institution knows the borrower as well as his local bank. They've been cashing your paycheck for years. They know how much you're good for. These credit rating agencies are susceptible to manipulation and corruption in developed countries, much more so in an emerging market like Nigeria. Fix the basics: utilities, infrastructure and credit agencies will evolve naturally from that base. As is, this is just going to be another avenue for government graft.
Everything works hand in hand , they are also fixing those as we speak.
Enemy of progress. Credit bureau in Europe that regulate and control credit rating are not being manipulated so I don't know where you got your information from . We here in Europe knows how it works and thus are one major way that stimulate the economy in Western world. So don't confuse people here. All the govt needs to do is make sure there credit rating agencies are sincere so whoever got money would be able to repay back in their agreement. So you are enemy of nigeria

credit rating is for everybody. income and expenses that's all they need to access the credit. also, bank will also, provide how build credit in other to have access to credit facilities.
