Actually it looks like he uses his whole body to throw every punch. His uses his torso, hips, ankles, toes, quads, calves, shoulder in symphony to throw punches.
Mike Tyson did the same. The reason Mike Tyson can punch hard is because he had huge hips and legs. That’s where his power came from.

Callum Smith has a very similar style to Callum Johnson. Basic but technical European style. He might have a chance to catch and shoot and possibly drop Beterbiev with that left hook but all I give him is that punchers chance. Unfortunately, Callum Smith also has that bad tendency to square up often on the ropes and that is almost like committing suicide against a beast like Beterbiev.
Beterbiev been overwhelming cruiserweights in the past. its cheating when he choose to fight as lhw instead

Bivol vs Beterbiev is a classic boxer vs puncher bout, even though Beterbiev isn't a bad boxer Bivol is a level above in boxing ability, Beterbiev is levels above in punching power. They're evenly matched but it's the kind of fight where one guy has remotely an off night they probably get owned.

Nah, it's better. I knew Crawford would own Spence that was a hype fight. This matchup is a real top competitive level fight with two styles clashing. I do still think Beterbiev wins based solely on super natural power, don't think Bivol can avoid his shots for 12 rounds and he only has to graze guys to end fights, but Bivol certainly has a chance to fight from distance and control fight that way but needs to have the night of his life and be perfect for 36 minutes.

I would personally Have Wilder over him as much as people hate on him for his lack of boxing, but it's one of the hardest one-shot punchers we have ever seen, but it's close. But Beterbiev and done it to higher calibre fighters so actually idk.

This is a very very good highlight . Thats the thing with Artur, he get stronger ,faster and more accurate as the fights progress and his opponent get slower ,weaker and can't hurt him anymore , thats usually at that moment the fight is over even if its still going on .i actually wonder if he ever really thrown a 100% power shot in the ring ?!?!?! I think he doesn't because if he do the fight stop to early and he think ,where is the fun ?😅

The only real challenge he has at 175 is Bivol. The fans want this fight to happen and it better.
How has it taken them 9 minutes to assess that Bieterbiev dismantles Smith and Yarde comfortably. Canelo could barely take Bivol’s shots who has less power than Bieterbiev and Canelo easily beat Smith.
Unfortunately Yarde and Smith are not world level fighters.
I mean.. Smith is most definitely a world class fighter, former WBA and ring mag super middleweight champion and winner of WBSS.

Maybe I like Yarde a bit too much, but in my opinion yarde could beat Smith. Kovalev still had gas in the tank when they had fought & yarde made a mistake by throwing everything in the 8th round when Kovalev was hurt. If he was to keep his composure, I’m positive he would’ve won. I was rooting for Sergey since I’ve been a fan of him since his early career

Might be old but he doesn´t really rely on super sonic speed and athleticism.
Power doesnt disappear because u reach ur early 40s and he hasn´t taken much damage at least in pro fighting (who knows about sparring especially early on).
He could probably stay at a very High level at an unusually old age.

Jeez, I have seen all the top L/Hwts, but Beterbiev is a very special boxer, he is just so relentless, fighters come at him with good shots, but he just seems to walk through everything, he just keeps coming forward, i think that he will be one of those very rare boxers, who retire undefeated, i just cannot see anyone beating him, including Bivol ! !

Yarde will catch Beterbiev and probably slow him down, but Beterbiev looks really heavy handed. He looks like he punches right from the core, but yarde will catch him at some point with hard body shots.

Train the uppercut. Arthur has been down before. He's not invincible. If yarde can land a perfect uppercut on the right spot I think it can slow Arthur down. Arthur has a good double cover, if you can slip that uppercut through that then you have chance to hurt him.
