I have owned the same box for over a year. Your view comments were in line with my feelings. Shortly after purchasing the box, I purchased a new label maker and printed white on black labels. Looks like you also opted for the aluminum knobs. Maybe you commented about the knobs in your review.
Great! Momentary switches would have been my preference as well. I'm curious, was it a straightforward process to replace them? And could you share where you found the new switches?
Curious, how did you mount your button box? I see the keyboard tray is close, so I'm interested in how your rig is configured on that side. I have the same button box and have never installed on my rig due to size, but this video has me rethinking my setup.

@@simracingden yes very well if I say so myself lol its got about 7 different blacklights..i prefer the red...for less than £7 I'd say its fantastic lol
The joy stick is the best thing on this box I use it all the time. The rotary are positive and feel so good. Something stupid but after 8 months the start stop hasn't even faded yet and most other boxes after a couple weeks they all do. Is it cheap nope! But your getting a premium box. You will need a good mount this is a heavy box. Great review 👏
@simracingden hell yeah love it. I did wish we had a switch that works both ways I hate that I have to reset the ignition every time I go back to the pits that's my only gripe
Dude, is there any possibility (I will fucking PayPal you $100 USD) to take this thing apart, and get me the item number one of those 10 black buttons with the center LED. I've searched ALL over so I can add them to my own button box that I'm building and I cannot find them *anywhere*. But if I could just get a hint as to where the hell they come from, that'd be amazing. Also, great review, appreciate it.
@@simracingden Ah man, I love you. I have searched every freaking where. APEM, Digikey, I'm losing my mind but I really want those damn buttons. I know they're basically caps mounted directly to an LED tactile button, but I could not find them to save my life. Much much appreciation in advance.

I lied. The company emailed me, told me the manufacturer of the button, but this company makes millions of things. I guess I'll have to buy this damn thing and figure it out. If you're interested to know in case you ever wanna build your own, I'll let you know once I figure it out.

I've got one and replaced the single switches with 2 way momentary's. It's been great for years.

Nice. I like having a good button box separate from my wheels so I can have permanent settings for common things. Then I can swap rims fairly easily.
I do the same!
Sim hub actually has a button mapper. You can then map multiple wheels/buttons to the same function 😊

Im about to pull the trigger on one of these but does the box come with the right angle USB adapter or do you have to buy that separate from ignition?
No, unfortunately, it doesn't come with the angle adapter. I had to purchase it separately.
When you push the start ignition button., does it shake your dbox or vibration system? That would be really cool!

Have you figured out a way to control the LEDs on this thing? Like, have the Engine button on only after the ignition is turned on, etc.
This is not possible with this button box.
Should you put one or two tc input on the button box.
Up to you I usually have TC on my wheel.
How many TC input set to your wheel. Do most car just have one setting for TC or two.
many cars have two I have two on my wheel

I think I may have found a solution. I'm looking into it. I'll share a tutorial once I figure it out.
