ANSWER:Freshly expressed breast milk can sit at room temperature 77°F (25°C) for up to four hours. Ideally, the milk should be in a covered container. The milk can last up to four days in the refrigerator at 40°F (4°C). It can last 6 to 12 months in the freezer at 0°F (-18°C).
