Recently had a massive blow up with family. I stood up for myself and said I want a full apology and assurance that this will never happen again. Really proud of myself. I’m nearly 50. I refuse to be the family emotional punching bag any longer! My dad hasn’t even replied. My mother is an avoidant, if I call her she usually wants to get off the call within 3 minutes and neither of my sisters are talking to me.
