I had to watch it again. I’m so impressed with how fast you accomplished all of this. I wish I could skate with you!

I have a question, did you pass? I ask as an adult skater preparing for my silver test. Since you only only did 3 three turns in each element & im told that I need 5 on each side. Also on your 8 step Mohawk, it is suppose to be outside to outside with free foot being placed at instep of skating foot. I notice you are flat on that back outside edge after turn. My coach is very experienced and I trust her. It’s just watching your test, makes me wonder if certain test places are not as strick Believe me I’m not criticizing, just looking for your opinion on those elements (all the 3s and the edges on 8-step Mohawk).
    Your other elements were lovely.
    Thank you

Hi there. This test was a solid pass by all 3 judges. For adults, we tend to do less lobes than the kiddies because we are taller. I always do the minimum required lobes. The rulebook states what those are for each required move. Hope this helps.

@@icedancerashleigh Yes, I agree with you! When I took this Adult Silver MIF test a few years ago, I was taught to skate the length of the rink for the three turn patterns, which could be anywhere from 3 to 5 sets of three turns depending on the height of the figure skater.

@@paulasfigureskating5612 interesting since I’m only 5.2. I’m hopeful that I only have to do 3 as well.
