Disclaimer: This video took much longer to create because it had almost 1000 pages, and Windows Movie Maker couldn't handle it, playback and audio was very very laggy, and it's a miracle the video came out mostly fine, though the 2nd act has some delay, the 1st and 3rd are completely fine. Enjoy! P:S: While I am now officially having a break after completing Tristan and Parsifal in just about a week... I have Lohengrin and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg to complete also...
I love the dark harmonies and orchestration in Amfortas's solo at 1:10:32. It's as if all the pain and suffering of the world is poured into this music!
Beautiful reading of Wagner's ultimate masterpiece. I don't read music, but I enthralled by those varied. inanimate symbols on bar sheets that make such glorious sound!
The best of Wagner works in my opinion. It always will be my favorite work of music ever. I love every single moment of this masterpiece. I wanna die with this music. Thanks for taking your time uploading this complete, all the score, great.
Awesome, you rock! We have a Parsifal again, and the Stein-Recording is also really beautiful. (I think it was Mirko Sattig who had a Parsifal uploaded with that fantasic Karajan recording from '81). TheOneAndOnlyZeno, thank you so much, made my day!
Glad I made someone's day, hopefully I will again once I complete Lohengrin + Die Meistersinger, which I will work on gradually, need a break now though.
Say goodbye to Tristan und Isolde - [ You ] tube is censoring it, and banning it, and deleting every comment I make that points out their hateful policies. Parsifal will likely be next....
1:56:52 sounds like alot like the Rhinemaidens from Götterdämmerung. Specifically this motif th-cam.com/video/K_BD57ZQLqI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WOhMeHR3OPXeUPSD
I love Wagner's operas and would like why he was so deeply interested in the transition from paganism to christendom. I'll appreciate any comment thereon
Because W saw what happened and just reflected on this? He certainly considered christianity as a better option than Judaism(Kundry) and Islam(Klingsor). So it is totally wrong to see W as a precursor of Nazism, that wanted to restore a paganism of its own fantasy. Performances of Parsifal were even forbidden during the Hitler era.

It’s beautiful.

Thank You I 81 Years Old And Still Love This Music Drama
3:47:59 has got to be the most sublime and other-worldly chord ever written. It's like looking into the face of God himself.........

Recognized the great Matti Salminen immediately. And this was when Siegfried Jerusalem was at his prime. Great cast. Thank you.
My pleasure - no need to thank me. hopefully TH-cam does not delete this, greatest of Art from this increasingly awful website

Why do you think youtube is censoring it? Does TH-cam A.I. hate love, passion, dedication, loyalty, truth, and beauty?
@@tomstoffelsound It is not AI, but certain persons and groups with a agenda.
@@TheOneAndOnlyZeno Don't know if it's some sort of agenda, probably just overzealous copyright holders.
