The Nintendo line is a reference to how universal studios sued Nintendo claiming that donky kong violated their trademark to king kong only for Nintendo to show that not only did they have no case but they didn't even own the rights to King Kong since it was public domain. In the end universal had to pay Nintendo a lot of money for trying to screw with them.
