Tip: if stuffing your shoes, put a disposable shower cap inside the shoe, so that your clean clothes you put inside don't get stinky. (Also put one on the outside of your shoe so it doesn't dirty your stuff)
Fanny packs and slings now count as a bag they tell you to consolidate it in your larger carry on everytime I fly and now they announce it once you board the plane
Great video and tips. The link for the hiking backpack did not work. I like the size of it. Do you know the brand or can you share a new link? 😊 Thanks. 😊
Thanks! The brand I am using is MEC but not sure they have this specific backpack anymore. Here is a similar one I found on Amazon: amzn.to/3ulVyDX (paid link). Hope that helps
Never exchange you money at the airport or money exchange place, they give you the worst exchange rate. I have found that going to a local bank ATM or an ATM not at the airport or your hotel is the best way to get local currency, you also want to make sure you decline when it asks if you want the exchange rate when getting cash from the ATM or when making purchases with your credit card, that why your bank charges the exchange rate bit the bank in that country.

Great advise. I use ziplocks sometimes too.
I like that your tips are common sense things for the most part
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback
Great tips!
Thank you!
Great tips, thank you for sharing them. You forgot to mention toilet seat covers and toilet paper. I found both in Amazon and they came very handy.
Very good recommendation! Thanks so much for sharing 🙏

Oh good to know. Thank you for sharing. I must have just been lucky the last few times I flew. 😅

Hi Alex! Great tips! At the end you showed an app with clothes (capsule) - what did you use?
Hi I use the Indyx: Wardrobe & Outfit App. Hope that helps
I really enjoy your content! Just FYI, the link for the TSA toiletries bag takes me to a puffer jacket.
Thank you so much! I fixed the problem. Appreciate the notification. Cheers!
@@AlexgoesCoconutsgot it, thank you!

I love all of your videos! I'm really interested with your jewelry bag but your link goes to another one😭
I got that jewelry bag as a gift so not sure where you can get one like that. I just put an alternative. Sorry about that😅
@@AlexgoesCoconuts Thanks for the reply!😃
Shop around for travel insurance, make sure you do not have to pay money upfront if something happens. You may not have enough.
Very good advise! Thanks for sharing!
In many European countries, you must give them your passport when you check in and expect you will get it back within 24 hours
Yes that is sometime the case. Thanks for sharing!

In my experience exchange offices have better rates than the bank. But not the ones at airports. The local ones
@@AlexgoesCoconuts You are right everyone had their own experiences.
Your pronunciation of Saran wraps. 😂 is that a Canadian thing?
I don't know maybe it's a Canadian thing or an Italian things since my mom says it the same way😂
No, not a Canadian 'thing'...we actually pronounce it S A R A N. thanks @@AlexgoesCoconuts
