Criticizing his switching to South Paw and surprised when he did, which only showed me they didn’t watch tape. If they had, they wouldn’t have reacted the way they did when Bud switched. After that fight I got on TH-cam and watched his earlier fights more closely. I’ve noticed something else too, Bud’s got a chin. He’s taken some good shots, grinned and inevitably made the other guy pay. He didn’t wait either because his opponents never got to admire their work. 😀 Bud might be like Pac Man and win championships into his 40’s.

The pbc kept playing their pbc fight only pbc fighters game, in all honesty it had erroll only beating good but defeated fighters. Erroll never fought an undefeated belt fight except two weights down mikey. No fighter from the greats accomplished two undisputed in the 4 belt era, barely one undisputed in the 4 belt era. Pacman did get belts across more weight divisions but he refused to sign up for vada and didn’t fight the best at 147 (which was erroll, while thurman was low hanging fruit). That put a damper on his accomplishments, at least for me.

Bud beat Indongo for that first undisputed which is similar in that low hanging fruit department as you mentioned. Was Indongo better than a 30 year old Thurman that Pac beat. I don't know.. not taking anything away and you will see undisputed has been coming up a lot recently with Haney, Inoue, Jermell because honestly, this era in boxing is not the same as it used to be. Inoue is probably my p4p best only because he's actually staying active and really trying to rip through the divisions while he's still young. Crawford is in his late 30s. Ultimately, if we go by just undisputed, Inoue will easily surpass Crawford but doesn't mean Inoue fought the better competition
