That’s a slick light and great output for Alkaline. Streamlight makes some of the toughest/reliable lights out there! My favorite choice for my weapon mounted light on my duty and carry pistols.
I like it a lot. Very bright at the high end and low enough to extend the life of a 14500. Weather is changing here…spring has sprung. I finally figured out how to switch to the outdoor program on the Wuben T1. The instruction manual left out a critical part…after quick clicking five times, long hold one more click. Yeah…I was searching the TH-cam world for how to get to that program. Even better light with that program set of levels.
another great edc light i have enjoyed for 6 months as a powersports tech has been a fenix ld12r, but this looks like a great option too. I have a nitecore hc33, and if it was in a warmer tint I would likely still be carrying it.
Yeah its been used countless times a day for atleast 6 months in repair shop conditions. It has a pocket clip with magnets. I dont use the side light too much but its there when i need it. I was skeptical of the plastic pocket clip at first, but its proven to be a solid unit! I have a handful of fenix products, they definitely make alright stuff, some units have definite drawbacks. The e30r for example. The switch is too easy to activate and whent off in my pocket constantly. The magnetic charger is weak at best. @Realidealgear
I haven’t looked at EDC flashlights since adopting the Surefire Stilletto years ago. I have no intention of replacing that light, but this looks like a good alternative to throw in an edc bag.
1000? Wow. I remember when LED flashlights were like $100. Then the Chinese said, “hold my homage watch…” Thanks for the great review. Only a true outdoorsman has a “grail flashlight…”😆

Is your light black or grey? I really like the worn look of it!
It's grey but has a little brown to it. This color is only for the 1k lumen model
