great song! i actually had a question about your home built studio, you turned off comments so i couldn't ask but im also looking into doing a double wall studio on the top floor and was wondering if you bothered decoupling (double walling) the floor and cielling as well? I'm wondering if it even matters since the cielling will only lead to the outside of the house sinces it the roof.
Hey there! No, I’d didn’t end up doing a double wall on the ceiling as there was some airspace there.. great for keeping the sound out of the control room. The floor in the Live was left untouched, but I decided to rip up the floor in the control room and and green glue and a sound insulating underlay for the new floor. Hope this answers your questions!
