There are two design principles for secura retaining walls gravity and soil reinforced.
The gravity wall design has two options. Walls to 1m in height can be built just using the blocks subject to design. Wall from 1m to 4m can be built using a concrete backfill and walls from 1m to 9m can be designed using soil reinforcement.
Soil reinforcement become a more economical solution than concrete backfill from 1.5m high. We can advise you on the best solution for your project.

Secura grand and secura lite blocks
The images on this page are secura lite. Secura lite blocks are for walls under 1m high and are a very simple and economical retaining wall to built.
The standard secura grand retaining wall blocks are 400mm long x 230mm wide x 200mm high and weigh approximately 30kg each. Shorter blocks are used for bonding.
The standard secura lite blocks are 320mm long x 200mm wide x 80mm high and weigh approximately 10kg each. Shorter blocks are used for bonding.

Secura grand and lite come in three colours. Bracken, heather and slate.
Retaining wall installation
The installation of secura blocks is very easy and we have a full installation guide to help you. The wall can be built using a local contractor, one of our registered installers or DIY
Secura retaining walls can be built with internal and external curves with a minimum radius of 2m.
Fencing posts can be installed at the top of the wall very easily.
