[Synopsis]
Hajin works at a company that's going through financial difficulties and hasn't been able to pay her for months. Gangseok has a well paying tuition job but his student and family debt and the fact that his mother is in a coma means that he's always short on money. They are both struggling to make it in this cold and difficult reality we call life. One day they end up at a blind date service meeting party and find that they are 98% compatible with each other. Certain random happenings makes Gangseok want to believe that Hajin is the one. But there's one secret that they can't share which is that they're both so poor that they're living at a cheap student hostel. Will they be able to overcome their current situation of hidden poverty and realize true love? Or will the harshness of reality split them apart? A touching and yet coldly realistic love story... I don't know how anyone could like this movie! 😢 Communication, comfort, solutions! None of this was present. Pure futility in life, no hope, no compassion! I was left grieving horribly! 😢Mentally I had to make my own ending. They communicated, he comforted her by renting the apartment, the solution was for them to pull together and live in the apartment and pool their monies! Never want to see another fatalistic movie ever!!!!!😢😮

In Korea there’s a different culture if is not about financial problems then maybe parents if the parents can’t accept each other doesn’t matter how much they love each others it has to end . Because what matters in Korea is in what position are economically if you are poor in Korea is not easy life . The community is not very nice to each other .

I really like this movie but it would be perfect if they end up together
I only watched this coz I saw Somin. I've been spoilt by series, now movies just feel rushed, I feel like there isn't enough time to get invested in the characters and the relationships feel rushed. The ending was sad, but I think I would have felt worse if it was a 16 episode serie.

Love the actors, but poor story lines. Why did the movie have to end so tragically? Why couldn't they live together in the apartment that he just got and support each other? Hate bad ending. It just leave a bitter taste to my mouth. 😢😖😫 It would have been a good movie if the ending was different.

I don't either. Nothing wrong to be poor, just overcome the problem together, problem solved... But then, he had to die... Worst of all...
