Codesys visualisation is very limited, but The User Access interface was last nail why we throw away panel (switched to another brand HMI to work with WAGO PLC). To be specific what was the biggest problem - Login/Logout interface on panel has another onscreen keyboard. Which is super slow is super tiny (about 3 seconds delay after each key hit and probably 1x2 inch keyboard on 10 inch panel).
@KurtBraun - Correct me if I'm wrong, but using Global_Vars here means your WebVisu is not instanced. So if two people log on from two devices, they'll see the same page? How do you instance variables?
Which Codesys IDE version you get used ,I use sp3.5.9.50 ,but following your steps. I cannot find the login or logout management interface,please give a favor,thanks.
You can specify the size in the visualization manager, but the easier way is to add a rectangle in the background and make it whatever color you want. Since your browser sizes based on the largest x,y coordinates this will make all the pages render the same size

Hello everyone, at 0:04 seconds, I saw device options with 750-XXX and 750-XXXX. My software is turned on but I don't have these device options. How do I add device options? Does anyone have any information about adding the Wago device library to Codesys v3.5? I want to add a Wago 750-881 as my main target, as well as various I/O cards. Thank you in advance.
May I know what to do if my Manage user button was not functioning? I already did what you did in the video. My CODESYS version is 3.5 SP18Patch 4. Thanks

Great vid, keep up the good work. It's way better to pause if something happens to go to quick, then wait for hours for the part I'm interested in. Two questions: 1) When someone uses the screen "Maintenance" and simply closes the connection it will leave the GVL.i_Screen=2. Now when someone new connects it will start with Main Menu but with Maintanace button green. Is there any way to change i_Screen value at disconect without logout? 2) I've tried doing user managment your way, but cannot find CurrentUserName variable. e!Cockpit 1.7.05 does not show VisuNativeControl... at all. Is there some additional prerequiste (library or smthg)? Apart from that Visu works fine.
Hi RD P, you need to add this object. In "Visualization Manager" righ click "add object" select "Visualization Web" and create with the name that you prefer. You can leave with the default parameters and download to your device. One problem is that, at least in my versions Codesys 3.5 SP4 & SP7 pbf (Provided By Festo), I need to download to a real PLC, when I try with "Codesys Control Win V3" device it show me an error and doesn´t even allow me to go online. I have used webvisu in a Festo PLC and worked very good. To see your webvisu on a internet browser you need to write: 127.0.0.1:8080/webvisu.htm 127.0.0.1 = IP of your device 8080= port address webvisu= name of your webvisu
Hi Kurt, I'm sure you put a lot of work into your video, but to be frankly, I can't follow what you do there even if I play the video with 0.5 speed or less. It is absolute useless for a beginner who would like to follow and set the same settings as you did. sorry about , but can't give you a thumb up for that

Too fast! Still good though. I had to put the speed at 0.25 in order to catch how you changed visualization screen when clicking the button.
It was hard to follow because you click your mouse too fast
