Late game pvt win at the pro level without carriers is interesting. The tempests are slow but don’t feel like the main focus, so the ground army adds a more dynamic late game. It felt like lurkers weren’t there to balance the fact that showtime wasn’t going full air transition.
The army Showtime built in this game is the sort of thing that made me fall in love with Protoss. Immortals, archons, tempests, all the big chonkers. I switched to Zerg a few years ago but watching this is making me want to switch back...
Good cast Harstem! I think it’d be nice if you explained a touch more when you say certain things. Like around 4:03 when you said the Spore was in an incorrect position it would be cool if you’d also quickly mention where it’s supposed to be
11:36 why would reynor reveal the broods just to defend a single base? think it would have been worth keeping them a surprise to at least snap the immortals..
He can't attack anyway and losing a base is super not worth it. It's not like showtime wouldn't know there to be broods if reynor can't defend that base, there is no other reason he couldn't fight after all then.
@@jonsolo32 2018 Bo5 Serral 3:0'd Showtime in over an hour. Three times the game was utterly passive with both players maxing out in peace, then Serral Crushed him with one engagement. That series almost made me give up on SC2
@@jonsolo32 you havent watched serral lately? Sure he wont go all in full yolo, but if he sees an opening he uses that openeing leading to very interesting strats
Showtime activates cloak…
Overseer literally sitting beside it: “ummm ok…”

Missed opportunity to say " i will just walk below you" Cause Reynor's full air
Hahah came here to say the same thing
Harstem: Some of the slowest Starcraft I have ever seen
Me: Memories of void ray meta comes to mind

Super game.
Main toss problem are broken defensive buildings, imagine if zerg or teran would have healing stations
Terran kinda has planetaries healed by scvs and zerg has creep on defense
ggwp. good match
They should do a 1v1 fastest nr 10
Honestly showtimes PvZ is so incredibly boring to watch.
Props to Reynor for making this game interesting.
Yeah, Showtimes's tactic is to camp to late game, unlike hero style which is much more aggresive and early game focused
Could you imagine a Showtime vs Serral match? I’d rather watch paint dry. 😂

@@Frontline_view_kaiser I believe it! I know he’s the GOAT but he’s boring as hell to watch. I’d watch Byun or Dark any day over those two.
