    Just purchased the pattern and cannot wait to get started! Approximately how many Child sized beanies can I get out of 1 skein of the We Are Knitters yarn?

    Love the style but have found these patterns to be too small for adults.

      Using the Lion Brand Thick n Quick, I cast on 43 stitches and followed her instructions exactly. I felt it fit everyone’s head fine, made about 5 of these hats.

      What weight did you use?

    • @rjduda

      I tried this pattern (first thing I’ve knit, so it took me maybe 4 hours) following the video’s instructions to CO 36. I used Malabrigo’s Rasta super bulky yarn and it came out large enough maybe for a toddler. I didn’t catch on that the written instructions via her blog instructed to CO 42 stitches using this type of yarn until it was too late. Based on my final product’s external circumference being 20.5in and my stitching being 9st/4in I imagine doing it with 42CO WOULD actually make an adult L size. So happy with the way it turned out, regardless! This was meant to be a trial run for myself before I start working on some for kids as gifts, so I already have one gift made now! Thanks @CJDesignblog

    • @CJDesignblog
      @CJDesignblog  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you’re a beginner yes, probably a bit longer, but not for much :)

    Hello! Does a 16mm cord include the needles? What I purchased says size 10mm needles and 16mm cord but feels very short?

    • @CJDesignblog
      @CJDesignblog  ปีที่แล้ว

      It supposed to feel short, maybe your needles are too long, but it’s supposed to be a bit tight :)
