A way to remember the acid and metal equations
MASH metal+acid=salt+hydrogen
MOAWS metal oxide+ acid= water +salt
AASW (ants always smell weird) acid + alkali = salt + water
MCASWCD (mr Clark always showers with curry dip) metal carbonate+ acid= salt + water + carbon dioxide
