  • Great maiden in the Hoodoo Tempest 120P.
    The best kayak for the money in my opinion.
    This Kayak is really stable and cuts through the water real good.
    There are some down sides to it, but over all a great buy.
    I am going to enjoy the Tempest for a long time.
    And I also need to get some lights for night time.

    Hey bud..Awsome video. I drove myself crazy researching 2 year's while I saved. I have that identical boat. My 1st kayak and I love it. I do fish a 900 acre lake, so I did purchase a 2.5 Suzuki outboard, with a 6ft single outrigger. I only weigh about 150, and do have a heart condition. That's why I wanted my motor, and the hoodoos are becoming amazing. I upgraded the stock pedals to mountain bike pedals. You'd be surprised how much more comfortable and an easy extra mph or two. Good luck. Be safe..

    Looks like a nice yak for the money. After owning it for a couple of months, what is your impression? Have you found any major drawbacks or would you buy it again? Seriously considering grabbing one. Thanks

    • @thomasoutdoors8507
      @thomasoutdoors8507  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not found any major drawbacks. I bought self bailing scupper plugs for it, that has helped out with water coming in. There is better yaks for sure, but again not for the money there is not a better yak in my opinion.
      I have also added a railblaza safety light to it. I Iwould definitely buy one again.

    got this brand kayak for my wife’s birthday. It’s pretty nice but I have to say their checkout process asking for a 20% tip to buy something is frankly insulting. I would have went an bought a Brooklyn at the point but their equivalent was out of stock and I was racing the bday deadline.
    I like the tandem pedal enough that I’m thinking of a 2nd one. But I’ll be shopping another brand. It’s insane to ask for a 400$ tip to purchase something online with 0 human interaction.
