Tyrone Jason I’m stock besides a Borla exhaust and hks BOV so I don’t have the access port to tell me exactly what temp I’m at but I don’t drive away until idle has dropped and I stay away from boost and shift at 2k until the oil temp needle is AT LEAST over half way to middle. The only time I go 2.5-3k until fully warm is to hit an on-ramp to hop on the freeway. How’s that sound to you? What’s your routine?

faded channel I warmed the car up prior to the video starting. I normally let it warm up minimum until the revs drop to idle or 5 mins or so before I leave
@@Rockcem1 Yeah not hating, but these guys are right lol. If your car says it aint warm, then it's not warm and you should keep the rpms low and keep off the boost until the temps are at the right level.

Definitely bad for your o2 sensor, and your exhaust valves and turbo will be under more stress/heat. But not having a cat will allow the turbo to be cooler also
If I was just going for sound and previous owner gutted the downpipe’s cat to where my focus st is straight piped could I run the crackle pop tune without worry of engine damage? I know I read somewhere it recommends not having cats but that’s effectively what mine is 😅.

This was Flowmaster American thunder exhaust and a Depo Racing Catless downpipe with a stratified tune, If you are looking for something similar I recommend AWE Track exhaust I just had the flowmaster on because the previous owner did it and I didn't want to spend extra money on basically the same exhaust.

Pops and crackles tune usually affects the catalytic converter (stock catted dp) ... However having an aftermarket CATLESS downpipe will not be that bad !
