A bit of context for those not as familiar with the EU/legends continuity. Mara Jade was the Emperor's Hand, his personal assassin sent in when he wanted a situation handled quietly, rather than Vader stomping about and force choking everyone. There were actually several Hands, but none of them were aware of each other. She loses everything after Palpatine's death at Endor and goes after Luke for revenge but once she gets to know him, she actually starts to like him despite herself. She begins questioning what she thought she knew eventually becoming a respected Master in his new order as well as his wife. They have a son, Ben Skywalker. Jacen and Jaina Solo were Han and Leia's twin children who would become new jedi, as would their younger son Anakin Solo. Unfortunately, Jacen would eventually fall to the darkness and declare himself a new Sith Emperor, sparking a second Galactic Civil War. And yes, it's been confirmed that Jacen Syndulla's name is a nod to the former continuity.
Attempt 17: What if after being told to take a seat, Anakin in his defiance of council's decision decided to physically take a seat and left the room with it? (Yes, I know Quill made one like that, but his take was very unserious and based on Anakin being a death stick addict)
What if Ahsoka had a daughter? What if Anakin wasn’t born a slave ? What if Shmi Skywalker didn’t marry Cleigg Lars? What Finn was the grandson of Mace Windu?
Nah. It was intentional. He's saying Dooku became Tyranus when he killed his friend under Sidious's command. Anakin, in the same way, killed Dooku against his better judgement under Sidious's command. When he did this, it was like the mantle of Tyranus passed from Dooku to Anakin. "It's like poetry, it rhymes."
What if Ahsoka was sent back to TPM? After being attacked by Sidious in the World Between Worlds, Ahsoka isn’t able to return to the portal she came from and ends up on Tatooine during the events of TPM. She sees Darth Maul and Qui Gon fighting and assumes it’s an inquisitor fighting a Jedi survivor, and intervenes.
Palpatine deserves a win and to see Luke and Mara together even in darkness brings warm feelings to my heart. Great story love a good Luke and Mara story.
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Luke taking over the Empire after Endor getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Luke did take over the Empire…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of his character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Luke take over the empire in the most unorthodox way getting shown some love, since he usually never gets the chance to do crazy stunts like this that much and it was a nice change of pace to see him take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Luke get that opportunity to shift a major event from happening…afterall it was nice to see him have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action he could take, so it was nice to see him come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since he knows that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Luke truly is…also this was definitely something Luke would do. It was also nice to see dark Luke make an appearance…also for some reason Emperor Luke just has a nice ring to it. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

I just didn’t buy the opening of this one, Luke was an absolute pushover and just accepted everything Palpatine told him at face value? Nobody is THAT stupid… right?
Even being a huge Star Wars fan, the story was so confusing and hard to understand and follow that I couldn’t figure out how palatine use Maura to seduce Luke to the dark side by falling in love with him and with her taking orders from the emperor, then confusing her at the same time how did she become confused if she was taking orders from the first place to seduce Luke to the dark side? Also what about Palpetine's spell? Did that just put look on a staye of confusion or something else? I don't understand how a dark spell corrupted him? It seems like instead of corrupting Luke the emperor would have simply just wanted to kill him without making him his apprentice because Luke was the one who blew up the 1st death star costing the empire quintillions of credits and killed thousands of their top imperial officers. Why would the emperor be so quick to dismiss all that to let him become another sith lord, unless maybe he was going to use Lukes body for his essence transfer ritual, like he tried to do with Raye in the last Skywalker?

Even being a huge Star Wars fan, the story was so confusing and hard to understand and follow that I couldn’t figure out how palatine use Maura to seduce Luke to the dark side by falling in love with him and with her taking orders from the emperor, then confusing her at the same time how did she become confused if she was taking orders from the first place to seduce Luke to the dark side? Also what about Palpetine's spell? Did that just put look on a staye of confusion or something else? I don't understand how a dark spell corrupted him? It seems like instead of corrupting Luke the emperor would have simply just wanted to kill him without making him his apprentice because Luke was the one who blew up the 1st death star costing the empire quintillions of credits and killed thousands of their top imperial officers. Why would the emperor be so quick to dismiss all that to let him become another sith lord, unless maybe he was going to use Lukes body for his essence transfer ritual, like he tried to do with Raye in the last Skywalker?
Uh, why would Luke and Mara name their son Ben in this story?
