If the product link is public with Google drive is not safe. Why? I can pay once and get more for free... and I can even decide to share the link unless the owner of the product would have to generate a new link each time a purchase is made, which might be cumbersome to do especially if the product owner is a busy type. Beside, there is no settings to do on Google drive that would automatically help to generate a new public link randomly. Your solution is nice but it is clearly exposing! the link to the product after an initial purchase

Lol it's a digital product, once a person download it he /she can upload it to their drive and share to everyone, so it doesn't matter if it generates new link everytime

@MyForexScreen I know you can get a digital product and decide to share it with your friends. Still, my point state that the selling platform should not be prone to exposing the link to the digital product after an initial purchase. Why? security. Assume you as a writer and you put in many effort into writing an eBook you want to sell on a public domain but one day while you are surfing the internet you discover that the same link to where you put your eBook for sale is what the internet users clicked to get your eBook for free. Now, tell me. How would you feel? And which is better? For someone to buy the eBook and then share it with their friends or expose the link to the source of the eBook. By the way, if you share a book that does not belong to you on an open web you can be penalized for it but exposing the link is like giving away your hard work for absolutely free. I hope you understand... I figured out that the solution to such loopholes is to use a platform that delivers the eBook via a link that expires after a stipulated time and also the link should be usable or clickable for some count before its expiration. Or if the digital product must be delivered via an exposed link then it must be encrypted and sent via an email to the buyer with a note or a message that contains the decryption key to unlock it....
