There is no point in playing a hypocritical game. EU has never wanted Turkey and will never want it. There is no point in these meaningless discussions. EU, which supports separatist terrorism and takes every hostile stance against Turkey. Everyone should go their own way.

The path of Turkia into the EU club , must depend on Turkia , once the EU sees Turkia as an indispensable partner economically, politically and miliarly, the EU would then admit Turkia into the club , which ofc will be win to win .As it stands, Turkia is away better in the dimensions mentioned than many EU countries so political identity should not be an impedance for Turkia to be an EU member given the strategic gains the EU will have, on the other hand, Turkia should continue to work harder at all levels so that it can remain self-reliantly powerful without the need of joining the club

Turkey's recent geopolitical strategy goes beyond Erdogan. It's based on projecting regional power due to the void left by the US. Turkey, together with the UK, are the two powers which can accomplish that. You can be fairly certain that if the current mayor of Istanbul becomes president after Erdogan the very next day, what I outlined above won't be any different.
Ok ok we get it. We will never be part eu. We dont want that anymore anyways. But what with visa situation? Why the people are paying and suffering your politics. Let us travel.
