I don’t think you got the sarcasm here. Deaf 🧏🏻♀️ people should have job that directly impact the deaf. For example, would you want a native foreign language speaker, who has English as a second language, teaching your child how to speak English? Of course not. You need a native speaker to teach correctly - grammar, punctuation, pronunciation, et cetera. Same with sign language. Hearing people aren’t native unless a CODA or similar experience. IMHO
