  • In this episode we travel to Glenwood NM.
We spend the afternoon up Whitewater Creek at The Catwalk Recreational area. The family explores while I go off to wave a stick around for awhile trying to catch a trout.
I really got to test out my Toetem Jackrabbit sandals out on this one. They were great by the way. There's a link below for you to find the right pair for you.
After that we went downstream to the Glenwood Fish Hatchery. Walt was so awesome to share what they have been up to there. They've got alot to do yet ,but in a few years it'll be quite an impressive operation devoted solely to bringing back the beautiful Gila Trout.
Hope you enjoyed this and stay tuned for more.

Beautiful canyon to fish! You should get yourself a tenkara rod. Loved seeing the hatchery too, very cool stuff.

      Yes sir 👍🏻
I actually have an old 10' Shakespeare telescopic pole I converted years ago to a fly pole before Tenkara was a thing. Might have to dig it out.
      Glad you enjoyed it Nick

That looked like a really cool little creek to fish. Tough to get into some of those smaller pools, but looks fun.

One day I'll get up past the bottom area where there are some larger pools and less people. Always a good time.
      Thanks for Watching
