    Heya dear Olive 🫒🐘🦁
another trip through the magical Serengeti, somehow hit me even deeper than the last one... I think I just stared a lot at the screen, a bit in disbelief, forgot a few times even to breathe, soaking that atmosphere completely in... its so other-worldly, compared with our Western civilization... I'm very glad, that some African countries created those huge parks; without them so much (more) wild life would have been lost at this point. 🌍🌴
I notice, that you always do a lot of homework for the videos, and you lead us so very well through the wild life, explaining a lot about their behaviour and roles in the eco-system, they are in, and also later in Arusha - very informative. I also loved, that you used quite a bit of African music... so groovy - the drumming at the airport!! 🥁🪘
I get it, that once you've been to the savannas, deserts, and so many other unique environments of Africa, you will always miss it, once you're gone. It gives such a deep feeling of 'home'; so connected to the heart and spirit of the planet... 💖🌟
...on an amused note: ...when you showed us around in your last tent bungalow, and announced the highlight, presenting to us proudly Matt, to then correct yourself, stating: 'No, he isn't the highlight - the view over there is!' ...I wonder if Matt teased you later on for this... 'So, you think, that the view is more impressive than me, eh?!?' 😆🤣
Can't thank you enough, Olive - your excellent filming and confident guidance - watching this was such a treat!! 😘🌈
PS. without relation to your post I earlier watched a video of an American woman, joining a trekking group up the Kilimanjaro. It took them 8 days, including acclimatizing to the lower oxygen levels, and dealing with freezing temperatures up there... quite an adventure... ⛰☁❄

Hello Jorn! 👋 Thank you so much! 💛 This really did feel like stepping into another world, and I’m also so glad these incredible natural parks exist... it’s amazing to think how much wildlife has been preserved because of them. 🐘🌍 This trip has made me want to explore so many more safari areas in Africa! Just the Arusha region had so much variety, and I can only imagine how much more there is to see across the continent. 🌿🦁 I’d also love to do the Kilimanjaro trek one day, it’s definitely on my list, although it’s in 3rd place after Machu Picchu and Everest Base Camp. 😊
Haha, that part with Matt was a little joke I thought I'd cut during editing, but I decided to leave it in for the unexpected laugh. 😂
Thank you again for your lovely words, and I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! 💚⛰

@@oliviaelenat I'm a mountain lover too: Machu Picchu and Everest base camp must be amazing, but also quite a bit overcrowded... and I'm glad you left the joke with Matt in - your laugh was worth it! 😄
