- On December 12, 1997, popular musician Yinka Ayefele was on his way to attend a programme at OGBC, Ibadan when he was involved in a motor accident on Abeokuta road in which he sustained a spinal cord injury.
Ayefele narrated his unfortunate experience to SaharaTV in the video below. --

He made mistake, he said he had an accident in 1996 and got married year 2000... There is a rumor going on at the moment about his wealth and am beginning to believe it because he wasn't a musician with no wealth before but he becomes one after the incident of which the rumor stated that he uses his spinal cord for riches... trust no one...
